Look elsewhere if u want good battery life. I had my zf5 100% when leaving home this morning 7am, it's 10am now and it left me 68%... and I used it only for fb/internet so far...
I love the phone but its batt life really cmi. Think i will ditch it soon and get the xm note later...

yeah. agree. the battery is quite bad. With moderate usage, it can last your entire work day. but with a lot of gaming or basically screen on time, you can kill it pretty fast.

that's why i bought the xiaomi 10k portable battery. LOL~

Like it has been mentioned before, it you want a zenfone AND a huge battery, zenfone 6 is the way to go. Plenty of positive things have been said over at the zenfone 6 thread by the users with regards to battery life.

wow i just found out that MOST of the call blocker apps doesn't work on dual SIM phones like zenfone 5... or rather most apps only work for calls coming from one of the SIM... typically is the SIM where your data is set to utilize from...

anyone face the same thing too..??

i managed to find one that appears to work for both SIM... although i have yet tested the private call blocking if it works on both SIM yet...

also... it will be nice if we can have a call blocker app that u can select which SIM u want to block from... so far i've yet found any such apps yet... anyone know of such apps?

received another update today from Asus. :)

looks like a typical bug fixing and improvement update.

Was searching on Zenfone5 disassembly and found out actually, the internal battery is not that hard to remove. A couple of screws, removal of some ribbon cables and that's it.

Now I'm pretty sure in due time, replacement batteries for the Zenfone5 will appear on the market. Maybe some with even higher capacity (if you trust those aftermaket ones lol). I'm wondering... what about the Zenfone6? I haven't manage to find any teardown of disassembly guide on the internet, but do you think they might be sharing a similiar physical size battery? The Zenfone series isn't really a high end product, production cost has to stay low and thus sharing on components... but you know, just a thought. Would be fantastic if both batteries are of the same physical size and connectors.

Anyone have spare back battery cover ? i bought the original flip cover and took out my back and misplaced it.... where to buy.... anyone has spare wanna sell me.. kinda sick of the flip cover "unlocking and locking " when accidentally moved the flip cover in pocket

Just started using this tempered glass SP for ZF5. Bought it for only $8.90. Application is easy, much less of a hassle compared to film type SPs. Initial impression is positive though i'm not sure how well it will hold up against scratches. Anyone using the same SP?
