The 1985 one sucks. Inside um soh soh wan. Onlie good thing I remember was there was a videogame shop near the escalator where I saw them using the disks for Famicom games. And Challenger that time I think was Sierra era, selling those adventure games and Amiga games. Opposite the road at Peninsular Plaza got Telahin - I think not many people remember what that is anymore. Revolutionary in pushing Singaporeans to shift away from pirated games to original games. They also had back copies of Computer Gaming World for sale.Yes this is the real old Funan from 1985.
The one that TS showed is the intermediate Funan after minor upgrades like adding an external escalator and reconfiguring shops in 2005.
Then the whole thing was reconstructed from 2016 to 2019 to Funan Mall of today.
