When I was young, my dad would bring me to this place “fuma centre”. I think it was Funan centre and I remembered crying cos there were so many escalators. 😂

But I also remembered there was a car lift in the area so it might have been the old peninsular plaza or something. Very hazy memory liao
Car lift is still in use at peninsular shopping centre, damn ex. $20 per entry into the carpark

Shopping at old funan can always bump into mediacock celebrities. New funan is boring, I can't remember when was last time i visited there liao.

verge,funan,pomo,peace centre,golden mile,tanglin shopping ctr all gone,so sad.the country is eroding.
Old Singpost Mall also, the large fountain was very iconic. Remember alot of families will bring their young kids there too at the ground level (Level 1). Got a Delifrance there.

Then Basement 1 last time used to have a VCD shop, quite famous one but their last few years think not doing well then replaced by different shops 1 after another.

Last I remember was a ice-cream shop then an Old Chang Kee.

Even the sitting areas are basement level 1 and 2, you can feel the breeze also.

Now this new Singpost Mall in place, is just a generic mall also.

The old funan had a computer bookstore.
Tech nerds would love that. I always go there when I visit funan just to look at the IT books.

Now it is just kinokuniya having a section of physical books, and even that is going away soon :(

Now the revamped Funan has much more retail stores and B1 & 2 is majority food. I go there for JD sports and Outdoor Life selling all kinds of equipments on 2nd floor

The old one not the current one, think their last year was 2015 if I remembered correctly but in the last few years the large fountain at ground level no longer function.

The Old Singpost mall was really unique, remembered will just buy an Ice cream and sit at the sitting area at either Basement 1 or 2 and enjoy the breeze. So cooling.
