For ONE, what's the exit strategy? I don't think theres a group of HDB upgraders willing to buy from you...
The strategy in One North area is the lack of supply of residential units for a growing business node. If you buy ONE, you are basically investing into Buona Vista/One North. Given that the nature of businesses in One North are mostly R&D, if the companies there grow significantly, so will the salary of the workers. With people seeking to work near their offices, there might be an increasing demand for housing in that area in the future. For ONE, what's the exit strategy? Those who worked at the place, will likely choose Holland or somewhere nearby but not One North.###
The interesting thing is whether people will choose to rent a place close to office or a place where they really like to live in because of the surrounding since WFH....

That’s what I thought. But if you look at ONR resale transactions. They are a lot of profitable transactions. Those who worked at the place, will likely choose Holland or somewhere nearby but not One North.
As highlighted in the thread, everyday work in office, weekend also within the office environment and during weekend its a dead town with limited food choices and activities unless travel out?
Well, maybe FT could be lazy to travel after work, then they stayed within the area. LOL
If no need to pay ABSD, maybe can consider. That’s what I thought. But if you look at ONR resale transactions. They are a lot of profitable transactions.
The 2 plots of lands will also be condos that could bring up the prices of ONE.
I wonder if it’s right to invest in ONE….
No one has a crystal ball to tell if indeed the next two plots of land would be bid higher than ONE, this also applies to the fact that the resale transactions at ONR are mostly profitable. That’s what I thought. But if you look at ONR resale transactions. They are a lot of profitable transactions.

All the pricey "luxury" condos (even ECs) today in all regions incl OCR should be daily staycation too.In fact, the sail is a nice place to stay, a daily staycation.
I would say fulfilling the dream of he and his partner should take priority over capital appreciation.###
That’s why when someone pm me for advice, I shared that property to stay and property for investment have very different selection criteria...
If you believe YOLO and love lifestyle property, dun think of anything else please fulfill your love in life...
One even started a thread that he and his Wife have a dream of staying at ground level units with patio, is it advisable and will he see capital
Appreciation.
Then, just ask yourself, fulfilling you and your partners’ dream take priority or capital appreciation?

Not everything is abt dollar and cents, jus like owning a car. It’s a depreciation asset from the very start, excluding car loan one is losing 7-8k a year and over 10 years 70-80k (over 200k at least I ncluding the car loan and all) for an entry level car.
Haha.. to each it’s own...###
Many comments in that blog was of this view as well.
You already state it is your dream... how do you want others the talk you into not fulfilling your dream???
Although one bro joked that his dream may soon turn out to be his nightmare.
