it sort of is based on specs? the telephoto camera's focal length is listed at 48mm on gsmarena and that's double of the 24mm on the main camera. it's not like the Galaxy S21 where the camera is optically only like 1.1X and they just default digitally zoom in to 3X by making use of the higher megapixel count of that sensor.
. More like portrait lens to me.Sorry just to clarify, when you say crop to zoom, it means it's still optical but instead of 32mp it will output as 8mp resolution due to cropping?...
This phone has no periscope lens, so it uses the cropping method to zoom, definitely quality will be affected. But u need to know this phone ain't that expensive to begin with

But while it technically is 2X zoom, at 48mm I don't know if you can call it a telephoto camera though
