Can I confirm the 2x zoom is not optical zoom? quite a waste... almost tick all my boxes.

Hope find x6/x6 pro won't be heavy.

The camera photo leaks for x6 pro looks huge . Might be even heavier den x5 pro.

doesn't have that C to A OTG (was thinking can use it if doing cable transfer. I was looking for it at the cutout space in the black cardboard box area too , yea thought we'll be getting that seeing other unboxing too

Now just need to look at night shots to decide.

At 205g this is a good weight. Too bad no wireless charging but it's not a deal-breaker since I always want to charge fast fast before I leave the house

It is very handy weight imo...

The 100w is fast. It totally changes my habit of charging overnight. Every morning before i go out, i plug in. When i am about to leave home, 90+ to 100 percent liao. Enough to tank for the day...

Some shots taken with OP11 and comparison with my current phone Galaxy Note20. It's an okay/usable camera overall, and acceptable for the price if you don't pit it against older/used flagship devices (find x5 pro, vivo x80 pro for example) i guess. It's still a step up against like a brand new mid range device like oppo reno8 pro. Though purely in terms of colour processing, i feel like still not as polished as pixel 6a (though they're kinda the exception, not the norm). good sensor can only give you a good headstart, but still need good processing to carry you the rest of the way to finish line.

Even without AI scene enhancement, whenever they need to do some sort of HDR, colours seems to "pop" more, especially reds and greens. And seems like the more processing a shot needs, the more it pops. lol. It looks okay on its own, but is definitely more "processed" looking. not just colour, dynamic range, but also sharpening. and brightness is on the higher side too. personally, would prefer something a bit more natural looking.

night time shots in particular i feel is affected even more. the more processing the camera does, the more "green-ish" it look in certain situations.

Also, because it does more processing at night, and does so automatically, there is a bit more "delay" when you click the shutter button. The shot below I clicked the button at the same time, but the car is further away on the OP11.

oh well. camera hardware is definitely decent one. but it's just oneplus processing isn't as good. always feel like they're being hamstrung by BBK. like can't let them eat into the sales of their blue and green sister brands too much lol.

and the colours just don't seem as vibrant. reminds me of Sony's Xperia, but at least the latter is more 'raw' and natural. somehow 1+ seems to process it too aggressively. I guess it's still personal preference but I will prefer the merlion and temple photos from the Note20 than the 1+ unfortunately...

for the night shots, seems like the ultrawide is better than the main on the 1+ though I do prefer the 1+ in general compared to the note20. but the shutter speed is a concern. wonder if it can be fixed via software updates.

However, u have to note the price point of this phone ya. Some corner cutting will definitely be there. If u want something that is good all around, do consider s23 ultra

no Samsung phones for me lol.. way too heavy and also past reputation with their chips and whatnot.

the 1+ 16gb/256gb is still over $1k so it's not cheap actually. I agree it's a compromise still.

This year sd8g2 is not bad.... Most review on s23u battery life is ok

yeah, am glad I skipped the gen 1 and 1+ models after all the bad reviews about heat and battery life. am still stuck with find x2 pro for 3 years liao (sd865?). still going strong in terms of user UI and camera (5x optical with one of the bigger sensors back in 2020). except battery life is getting cui by now. so been out looking for new models and gen 2 looks promising!

First round of genshin test in a more casual medium settings. Look real good. Based on the game centre thing, after 30mins of gaming battery drop 15%, phone temp increase 3 degrees only!? Don't know zhun bo. my infrared thermometer ded, but based on my own hands, after 30mins the phone felt a bit warm only, and was pretty stable after like 10-15mins in. Left hand (or rather top metal frame part felt the warmest to me). will test highest graphics later.

around 20+ mins of farming open world artifacts around liyue, dragonspine, inazuma. and the rest in spiral abyss. mostly smooth at 60FPS too.

Game settings:
- Medium graphics for everything
- 60FPS
- Motion blur OFF.

Phone settings:
- aprox. 35% brightness (what I usually use at home)
- Balanced mode
- High performance mode OFF
- Touch sensitivity settings is set to max
