okies....then happy paying at least $1300 for a phone selling at $1000 in the USA.

In general, most phones don't give you problems until they run out of warranty at the 2 year mark.

But yeah if I had $1300 to spare, no way i gonna put it in a super overpriced "flagship" killer that is suppose to be cheaper than a flagship.

actually la, local set warrenty they will also tell u the same thing. Software compatibilty or bug mostly never warrent a send in repair, even for local sets, mostly only are for hardware repairs.

let's just say I'm glad that I got the local set for my OP8T cos it went to the svc ctr for a motherboard issue once within warranty, and green line on screen when it was out of warranty but they still honour it cos it's due to Android 13 upgrade

Can't remember, too many orders but there are several shopee sellers offering the phone with global ROM.

10 pro china flashed global rom dun have issues and support OTA, newer than that from 11 onwards all have some issue one way or another

If SG set OP12 is priced above 1.3K then i would rather spend $200 plus more to get the Samsung S24 Ultra from RWM or some other stores.

for me the 2 years make the difference if its gonna cost more. No doubt S24U pricing isnt bad, but the 1 year warrenty is gonna be the game changer for me

for me is the support, I’m not sure of the support of oneplus in SG but samsung, you can find the service Centre.

my sources tell me its also gonna be 2 years warrenty. Oppo's one is the service center for official local Oneplus phones at Novena Square. And a user just posted about his good experience with the service center for replacing his 8T's screen even though its out of the 2 years warrenty, acknowledging the AMOLED issue that comes with software update.
