That's what I have done with 10 pro but it was mentioned here that from 11 onwards, global ROM on china sets will still have issues...

Some points to note:
1. 2 year warranty for SG sets
2. Only Green and Black available in SG
3. Pricing will be around Oneplus 8 Pro launch price in SG, expect 1349 as Malaysia is 1300. Usually SG costing is slightly higher than Malaysia.
Note: Oneplus 12 launch price is higher than Oneplus 11

Those interested in Oneplus 12R, it will launch locally mid march

wah like that better wait until it comes out to Singapore, not worth the risk, later this one cannot, that one cannot, end up with "paralyzed" phone

yeah man, should stay away from China version.
Maybe wait until got sales for local set, the price should be coming down abit.

the seller might have unlocked the phone using china sim card b4 sending it out due to 11's history of region lock, or Oneplus could probably be just implementing it now as the global launch draws near. Good for you that it hasnt happened to you, or possibly "yet, for now". What region lock does is that it locks the phone call and mobile data usage function, effectively making it a wifi only device

so now you cannot use Singpass at all ? or is there any update on Singpass app or Oneplus that allow you to proceed?
Cannot use Singpass is kind of dealbreaker, some important thing requires Singpass
