Which seller for hk set? Assuming the singpass issue gets resolved eventually I'd want one with esim also because will be travelling alot

Mobilehardware iirc… well, for me i still think it will be solved by govtech. It is obviously not a phone issue, because i saw the reviews on playstore and apparently s23 ultra also faced the same issue

Yup. Actually thinking of getting first and worrying later. Im pretty sure sg set will have the same singpass issue until they whitelist

Yup. I dont see any risks or issues with it since it happens on s23u as well. Even for china set with global rom, as long as bootloader is locked after the firmware flash is is fine

U plan to buy local set?

Planning to buy non local and use the $500 get other stuff like maybe the buds and a nice meal. Key for me is esim and singpass as I'll be travelling abit this year.

Just to check, the only option would be HK set if it's not local set? Since some Bro said India set also no esim

Possibly hk / malaysia & eu i guess. I also trying to find out more info, especially which seller carries the esim one

Tbh if esim is your concern just go with local set. It is imda certified, so for sure it will work with local telcos...

Don't later get an export set, then cant work properly, then have to sell at a loss and buy local set again

I have local physical sim. Esim is for travel because alot cheaper

Yeah but if eventually can't work we can only LL, since dun have return policy here.

I better wait for more people to use and confirm no issue first then buy

there is also a chance that they have a test unit already? since they write up front that it supports, if it doesn't, they are at fault already. of course that's hoping they are not just making assumptions that all phone sold locally will definitely have no issues with Singpass. anyway, can check with them on shopee in chat if really keen.

the 1299 price seems to be without any freebie, not even charger. now shopee has 100 off shopee mall i think so it's also 1299 there with the pre order bundle. IT also coming up soon so might have more coupon too?
