Not really.... 1tb 16gb is 947 yesterday. U buy 967 right?
Yeah. Looks like a better deal with the bank voucher.

Those considering shud just buy liao else need to wait hari raya or 5.5 liao

I'm still happy with my purchase tho. Almost max spec and cheaper than local set base :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

The older OnePlus series ended up with region lock after a few months even though flashed to global rom, not sure if it is the same this time round and whether android auto/location history works well on china sets to global?

Android auto and location history should be fine because it's global rom

Just curious those in shopee resellers as 'global set', is it global set or china set flash to global rom?

Edit: confirmed with sally.co seller on shopee no esim so should be china sets flashed with global rom but still worth it!

If china set flash to global rom then no esim right?
China set flash global rom.

Oneplus SG tell me their cost for each phone is way higher than how much shopee is selling.

China set flash to global rom no esim. @tkte_85 bro mentioned that there is no esim hardware on china sets

Not sure if the same as i got same issue on OP11. U can fix this by ensuring the refresh rate of the app "google" is 120hz. Just this app need to ensure 120hz. Others do not seems to have any effect.
U can confirm when the screen just on 120h z is displayed mean correct . U can activate the refresh rate display from developer options.

If u registered your fingerprint before installing the tempered glass, u can try deleting and registering again, as tempered glass is a little raised from the screen+sensor

Internationally, its also kinda similar priced and also the fact that international sets including ours, do not come with charger anymore is a stupid decision from them, somemore the charging protocol is proprietary, 99% of retail chargers only charge to 18w no matter what.

How about the previous region lock issues of china sets even if flashed to global rom?

From what i know about oppo and their sub company phones, even in CN retail stores they will ask the buyer if they using it locally or for oversea use, i.e "export". This probably comes from the experience from Oneplus 11 onwards inplementing region lock. So like i explained before, those sellers in lazada/shopee are also doing the same thing which is putting in CN sim card in china after powering on to unlock the phone before either
1) flashing to oxygenOS or
2) power off and put it back in packaging to sell as CN rom

It started from Oneplus 11 and it was unknown to sellers at that point of time, and similar to other new stuff that happens, people need time to understand how it was implemented and come out with a proper solution. 1st one that came out was for those already out of china and in customer's hands, they could go oppo svc ctr and request to unlock, which probably they started requesting for CN receipts containing IMEI number and a service fee after the initial few free unlocks.
So during the time of wait, no new OP11 CN sets were sold. Then when the method i mentioned in previous post was found, then come the 11 CN flashed global sets that sold normally then. Same goes for 12, unless Oppo+Oneplus do a stunt again.
