i just got op15, can confirm the speakers are clearly better than s25u and s26u. feb26 production batch very fresh!

op15 speaker is closer to ip17pm than to s26u

ip17pm still best, it has no distortion at high volume while sounding full bodied. op15 can hear a bit of stress. apple virtual audio is also best in mobile.

happy i chose cheaper op15 over s26u, the body profile is slimmer than both ip17pm and s26u while retaining the performance and battery.

dont know why many amdk reviewers keep saying it is disappointing release

To me, for the price it is good.

Yes, cameras are a downgrade in terms of hardware, and hasselblad partnership. But, first questions first, who gotten OnePlus for photography? Not me definitely. And are the cameras bad as of now? Definitely not.

I gotten it due to the smoothness and responsiveness of the entire OS.

Samsung has been stagnant for a while with incremental upgrades. Privacy display alone is a dual edged sword. Based on my testing, the display clarity suffers a dip due to the combination of wide and narrow angle LEDs. There is this greyish hue on the screen which strained my eyes looking at it. Other then that, the rest is just the same as last year and the battery is like 5000mah since 5 or 6 years ago......

I don't really put my buying decisions based on these amdk reviewers. They say whatever money goes to them. Instead, I would want to hear real life usage reviews from people using the phone, just like here. Just like how I bought my X300 Pro. There wasn't much amdk reviews on X300 Pro, but alot on the Oppo X9 Pro and Samsungs. Still I trust my instincts and people who use these brands.

So you have to think in this way. If you sure she won't mind, then go ahead by all means

Thanks for the review! Every 2-3 years I come out here and do research for new phone. I come from s3, HTC one m8, s7 edge, note 9, note 20u, s23u.

I am looking at the oneplus 15 and upcoming vivo x300 ultra, oppo find x9 ultra, honor magic 8 ultra.

Camera important but I've been thinking of focusing more on 1. display(eye care), 2. speakers(content consumption), 3. battery life(full day super heavy usage). 4. My biggest concern about China brands is a reliable and smooth ui/os but it seems they been resolving this for the past few years? So looking to take the change this year.

Based on leaks and current models. Vivo don't care about symmetrical audio mainly heavy camera focus. Honor screen sticking to smaller screen size and I heard is slower updates? The display plus speaker is the best though I am reading.

Leaning towards oppo find x9 ultra for now based on leaks as all round. But may eventually buy oneplus 15 for value or the honor for content consumption.
