Hello! i just bought Oneplus 2 moment ago. very excited to share! :s13:
Before i also thinking of N6P / moto x style / oneplus2. at the end i choose the one with cheapest, faster available (i got the invitation code) and warranty !

I will judge Nexus 6P camera better, purely based on the newer technology and DXOmark!

After a full day of use as daily phone, my summary would be:

This phone is actually like a G4 body with pure Android, with battery life similar to last year's M8. Or its just like a bigger nexus 5 with fantastic battery life. (Comparing with all the phones i used to have)

Camera wise, its better than G4 in good and medium lighting conditions. In extreme low light, G4 is still king. But if in those scenarios, there's really no point in taking photos in almost pitch dark conditions as even my full frame A7 also struggle in those scenes.

Will continue to add more experience...

happy to hear from you for the experience of the camera performance. seem like u are "into" photography as you are using A7 :)

I also very tempted to simply just get this. Moto x too troublesome to import also.. I'll just leave it to fate then, see if my opt invitation code or the n6p arrive to sg first :s13:

Yes bro. Have almost same Nick at clubsnap too. :)

Coming back to this phone's camera, its not the best one out there but its definitely the top 3 right now imo.

I compared note5, g4 and this. Overall all very close. In good to medium lighting, can't go wrong with OPT, it has better contrast, exposure and colours.

Honestly, nexus has never been good in camera's department traditionally.

Having a good sensor does not automatically take good photos as well. Many other factors come into play, like lens quality and jpeg engine....etc.

Sony always make the best sensor for phones but they always screw up in processing which is why from the original z series till now still sucks with lousy photo quality.

Optical image stabilizers started off from nexus from nexus5 craze and many phones started to follow suit. It wonders me why they took it out this time round.

Imo, ois is very important for phone cameras as there is nothing much to hold on to a phone compared to a DSLR camera.

Let's see how it performs.

Just got the phone on Tues. Love it. Only issue is that my xiaomi piston earphone ctrl don't work. think it might be an OxygenOs issue. Hope they fix it with a patch

I ordered the phone and Karbon back cover from Lazada on 30 Sept and received the phone yesterday. Super fast delivery!

Haven't start playing with the phone yet so cannot comment much. It seems a tad heavy to me but my husband prefers it this way.

The Karbon cover seems cheapo though...like just a sticker pasted over a plastic shell.

Wondering if it's the same for the Black Apricot cover? :s22:

By Karbon, you mean the Kevlar swap case? Yes, the Kevlar swap case is thin, feel cheap, and fingerprint magnet. That's why I mentioned before, if you want the carbon feel, it will be better for you to just get the carbon fibre skin from dbrand. Confirmed will feel much better.

I believe those wood ones, e.g., Black Apricot, Bamboo, etc, should be slightly thicker than the Kevlar swap case.
