Hi guys. Is HKk still the best option to order the phones the se days? How much do you guys spent in total (including shipping,etc.) to get the phone? I am wondering if I should wait until it reaches Singapore...

Battery will degrade after sometime, that cannot be helped but I think if you baby (80 to 85% charge) and don't dash charge everytime, it can still do full day of medium usage which isn't bad already. Anyway, this is 5T thread so I shall not keep going on older phones.. LoL

Everytime use dash charge will damage the battery?

If u got Bluetooth in your car,set the phone's trusted devices not to lock when it detects your car Bluetooth, problem solved, all you need to do is to double tap to wake

Not really. HK used to be good cos china sets were not available yet. Using borderlinx will make u puke blood and is not cheap, esp since buying from qoo10 can stack up the rebates like credit card, shopback, gift cards etc. Not to mention paying overseas rates will subject u to lousy exchange rates unless u have a friend with a HK credit card and carrying it in for u to SG.

Anyway the phone is already in SG. If u don't mind paying a premium, I believe u can walk in and buy it at brick and mortar shops. u can go search shopee for those retail shops selling it, I saw hitecmobile and mobilesquare got sell.

Not that day, I got it when it was released way back. Yup, I use smart lock with Bluetooth and location also. Using front fingerprint for double tap lock. got everything working fast and efficient the way I like it.

does the screen double tap require PIN ? I have the issue when i activate double tap on my 3T

I have the 3t and double tap doesn't always require pin. It depends on your security settings

Dttw using 3rd party apps/widgets will require pin. If u use stock ones don't need like using dttw on home button from the button settings won't need pin when unlock. It's a android security feature since lollipop iirc

Haha, that's if they are really using the original casing and screen protector that come with the phone to pass off as freebies. (seller updated, free additional casing and screen protector)

131express generally got good reviews, they are quite prompt and cust service at least bother to reply people's qns, but their price is much higher now after the 12.12 deals. Duno anyone buy from Xiaomi Store or not, i read the reviews like quite ok and their price is among the lowest at $672 for 64gb.


BTW when u hoot the $700 giftcard, did u buy one shot? Was your giftcard purchase on review for a while before it was available to be converted to Qoo Money?
