Personally i feel m10p camera is worse than oneplus 5t. Don't have much clarity in the photos and lowlight watercolour effect is obvious

Personally, I've not seen the watercolor effects that you are saying so it may have already been fixed in the later firmware released. Now already hv Dec patch with some battery optimization. Or probably haven't really shoot in really very low light but you can read from here

wa u haven't encountered Sony Ericsson's bloatware, very power. their bloatware cannot be disabled, can only be forced stopped and if you don't force stop it often, it keeps serving you all sorts of crap notifications and those notifications cannot be disabled because the setting for the notifications are greyed out.

If you can get PDP to work, it will disable those that you said being greyed out. That's the whole reason to run it anyway on the phones. If I get my hand on a Sony, I'll try it.

no, the current generation too. I have a SE XA1 Plus, launched in SG in Oct last year.

If you can get PDP to work, it will disable those that you said being greyed out. That's the whole reason to run it anyway on the phones. If I get my hand on a Sony, I'll try it.

Might be easier the other way around, like I get my hands on PDP and then try it on my XA1 Plus

may i ask if there's any particular reason why you chose newstar over simder?
because newstar offers 1 month warranty whereas simder seems to offer 6 months..

(of course the downside is that simder is only after 9th Jan.....)

As for casings/TGSP as seen earlier in this thread was the one sold by mobilelite seems to be a good choice + he pastes them on well right?

any other good options out there? anybody tried the rugged armour? which TGSP goes well with the case such that the TGSP won't be lifted?

wanna do as much research and prepare whatever that i can first before phone arrive

(or if by 9/10 Jan no update from AT house then cancel and get from simder )

Well, I think it is important to note that the additional 5 months of Warrenty is in house de. Meaning they will get their own technician to take a look (if any). Alternatively, it's to send back to china.

yes i realized that. i think i'm gonna give it till wed haha cos next week i'm gonna get busy already so if by wed no updates, refund liao. though i am quite worried about the payment I used a debit card if i remember correctly so if i refund will it be like the credit-card kind of refund (ie, 3 weeks ) or instantly?

yes aware of that but to me that's better than having only 1 month of warranty on a gadget i spent $700+ on

and also not forgetting it's a tad more expensive to buy now than before.. haha
