Yeah. the thing is don't know if they got ready stocks or not. but in the end is see whether you willing to wait for cheaper price. Cause from the looks of things some shops already dropping price. if can wait and just want to get cheapest deal then got other options. for me if can collect today i don't mind take from wdigital. lazy to wait. i after lunch just call in check again. hope got good news lor

im also in the verge of buying it, I have amex but do you know what is the difference between the set came from Wdigital? It is indicated global rom. Based on the comments rom is flash to oxygen os instead of hydrogen os built for China market. Does it mean other than that everything is same as the international version? like configuration, band everything? :s11:

They will open the set and flash to the global Oxygen OS before you collect or sending over to you. For band I'm not sure, might have so difference but so far no problem using in Singapore.

Just make sure it's AMEX issued and read through how it works first. haha. some one earlier in this thread hooted because CSO told him will be refunded to his account, but then it's not. the discount for Q*coins is reflected immediately.

shouldn't be any difference hardware wise. Well, the charger is 2 pin flat charger so you'll need like an adapter which costs like $1 or so at most places I've seen.

Since 5T i think only 1 variant globally. last time china set can't get 4G+ speeds (carrier aggregation) locally because of band difference. But since then china sets can get 4G+ locally too just fine.

Sorry for asking too much, does flashing the rom considered as rooting the device? it means rooted already? sorry not aware anymore with android these past days since im using non android for a long time.

In OnePlus' case ah, they make it easy to convert from hydrogen to oxygen os. If it's official rom just put the rom in device storage and run it using the local upgrade option. No need to unlock bootloader or what. I checked Liao.
