One update per month is not bad. Real test will be when Android Q is out.

But I just don't like Samsung's one ui. Overall Samsung ui not exactly smooth, got some stuttering here and there. I compare my OnePlus 5T to my wife's Samsung s9 and I can tell the difference in fluidity and smoothness.

And bixby is worst idea of the century. That button is useless and should be put to good use for other things.

OnePlus alert slider is probably the best use of an extra button.

The battery life is not good.... One of the Youtube reviewer said 4-4.5hr on screen with one full charge. Wow. That is too fast!!! If u go out for a long time. The phone must likely will die....

Actually I am thinking of getting the 7 instead of the 7 Pro. 7 should be a decent upgrade from 6T.

If i understand theres one service center at jem, shop name is gadget world or something. Not sure if its still the same shop.

But most likely they will send repairs back to china and not locally. So have to wait for 2-3 weeks. I might lt be wrong. Best is to ask oneplus SG fb page directory.

The Facebook page for oneplus sg also closed down. Lol.

I was referencing to their earlier msg to their now closed service centre. Their name in my message list became a generic "Facebook user".

LOL.

I used to at least think DXO has some credibility previously until they released the scoring for OnePlus 7 Pro yesterday. All the other reviews from other websites are stating that the camera of OnePlus 7 Pro is above average at best and here DXO gave them such a high score. Not sure what DXO is smoking... LOL

OnePlus started working with dxomark for oneplus 5 and that was how it all started with crap.

Dxomark said oneplus 5 can match the flagships.

Oh well maybe can match 1 to 2 gen before.

Too small a market for them to be profitable

They probably had to pay a fixed cost to provide after sales support in a market of a few thousand users.
Might as well reinvest that into the US market where they're making in roads with the telcos there

No one here talks about software updates as a feature? This is a reason why I never buy phones from manufacturers like samsung as they are super lousy in keeping up with Android updates. So far OnePlus is very good on frequent updates and their oxygen os is basically stock Android with many useful features.

I honestly think quick Android updates are overrated personally. As long as they eventually update, I'm fine with it. What feature from android updates did you immediately tell yourself "I should have that feature now."

feel that they should have an option whether to change the screen resolution to HD+ FHD+ or QHD+ like on the note 9. that would solve the battery solution

if they worked with one of the telco in SG, like they did with T-mobile in the US, then it will be different. the exposure of the Oneplus brand in Singapore is not great.

Well, the problem is currently out of the flagship phones, only Samsung & Huawei still offering microSD/nanoSD support. The rest of the brands all don't have already...

Changing to Samsung from LG made me feel that Samsung is good enuff in terms of update. At least Samsung provide major android update 2 or 3 times eventually while LG simply don't care.

US is not getting the non-pro OP7.
They are only getting OP7 Pro and a USD30 discount on OP6T.

now in US: OP6T 8GB ram+ 128GB Storage at usd579, do you think worth?

or wait for OP7 from qoo10 china seller? :s22:

personally i find OP7pro too big, too expensive, don't like the curved screen and don't like pop-up front camera, in that order lol
