Please don't use those dot matrix ones, they are really trash. They make the screen look bad with the dots and rainbow effect. The touch sensitivity also affected plus they also drop off easily. Just get the Whitestone dome, install it once properly and never have to worry anymore. The WSD feels like the phone's original screen. It's expensive but it's worth it.

shop will do whatever it takes to sell their item. dot matrix tempered glass is one of the worst "invention".

because there is no adhesive on the actual glass itself, only the black frame is using those double sided tape and stick it.

naturally u need to press harder to "register" the touch. because there is a gap between the panel and the glass.

The worst thing about dot matrix screen protectors is the rainbow blot that develops in the middle of the screen after some time of usage.

Always go for screen protectors with full adhesive loca glue.

There is another type of full adhesive glass that doesn't use Loca..

i know there is another type, but for curve screen phone, the degree of curve varies from phone to phone, 100% bubble free (assuming your application is perfect) is the loca glue solution.

those with adhesive preapplied one will work but case to case basis. it might be bubble free on 1 set, and full of bubbles on another set as the screen curvature is different

i assume that Oneplus Singapore & Msia not authorised official by Oneplus,
that's why the price so much expensive.

no wonder many here say OP service center is like non-existent, so that's v true!

but then i rmb seeing seller put 2years warranty, means that one is fake? :s22:

wouldn't say is fake la. more like they setup own service point locally. They are probably working with OnePlus too? That's why the markup i think. But this is the 4th distributor for OnePlus here in Singapore already. Who still has faith man...

True. Initially I intend to get from official distributor due to 1year warranty for any failure but after finding out more, decided to just hoot export set le. I know is a risk but pray hard will turn out fine as many here seem no complaint and also my friend using op5 till now still ok

I wish oneplus would set up a service center here and help repair all their oneplus phone with a reasonable price to pay. At least consumers will have better confidence rather than shipping over which takes too long to repair imo

Quick update - looks like my phone has the ghost touch issue too.

but it doesnt look as severe as the ones that has been reported. so far, it only happens in the cpu-z app. And monitoring it for 2 to 3 minutes, it only happened about 3 to 5 times.

will continue to monitor and report back if things get worse.
