better buy from lazada. global set other place to get is oneplus hong kong but their price is ridiculously high this time round. qoo10 did sell global set, but pricing is the same as lazada. so just get from lazada as it comes with local warranty

You can refer to this site to find out if the various OnePlus 7 pro models are compatible with USA bands

https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/oneplus-7-pro

But I'm not so sure how legit this is.

Based on the site, OnePlus global and OnePlus China have the same bands. Even the official websites of OnePlus us and china list the same bands in the specs sheet, so I guess there's no diff between global and china sets.

So I guess not really necessary to buy the global set to use in USA. But again not sure how legit this is.

Ok ok thanks so much for this. I saw earlier in the thread that the local SG set has more bands to use in the US.

Apply where? I applied mine in casefactorie but the glue are all over the edges.. attracts lotsa dust... Peeled it off after a day. Don't like the residue

Last time I remembered the earlier models of OnePlus phones support different bands between the different region models, now not so sure. I just checked OnePlus us, China and India site, all state the same bands under the spec sheet.

I think if you really want to be safe, and can afford it then buy local set for peace of mind.

Unfortunately so far only the Lazada official store aka mister mobile at City plaza is officially selling it. Prices non negotiable. For cheaper local sets, most likely you have to get 2nd hand or opened boxes or try your luck in other areas like carousell?

Not sure about that though. Cause typically SG variant is exactly the same as UK, and looking at the specs, CN set has the same bands as UK set. With US having a a few different bands? Those extra bands are probably specific to US carriers. band 30 for At&t and 71 for T-mobile? For the TDD-LTE band 46 and 48 don't think any carrier in US using?
