Better haptics, 90hz display and curved screen hahaha. You also get warp charging instead of dash charging.

is it worth the 260 dollars difference?
That is whether it's it justifiable for you to spend the extra. A lot of the bros here took the normal one instead cause they don't like curved screen.

Other than it's camera, Pixel 3A is better in your view? :s11:

Internal storage alone is kinda sad already @ 64GB

I've got a Pixel 2XL which is experiencing extreme lag, especially when gaming.

I want a new phone... And really I want the Pixel 4 but it's 4 months at least before I can get one.

I am seriously considering this phone (OnePlus Pro) in the interim but what is putting me off is the camera! I suppose just *knowing* it's sub par compared to even the mid range Pixel 3A is hard to accept.

Pixel phones have a lot of other cool features like Lens and free storage for photos and videos that not everyone values enough, in my opinion.

What's killing me on the Pixel 2xl is just lack of RAM. Will probably opt for 8gb on my next phone.

maybe u ask urself whether are you using the camera everyday. or camera is the top use case for u.

else what u can do, buy OP7P. wait for Gcam to be stable... den u will have the best of both world liao.

anyway the latest OOS 9.5.8 has quite a significant improvement of the PQ. and OOS team are really serious in improving their cam.. because almost every minor update there will improvement towards to the camera.

Have you tried the phone before you came to the conclusion that it is subpar? There are reviews out that that claims it is bad, and some that it is good. Picture quality is very subjective from person to person. Having used the OP7 Pro for 3 weeks now, I have never feel that the camera is a letdown.

This one I believe is depending on user. For me I can still use Pixel 1 and Pixel 2 as daily driver if need be, because I always keep my phone clean. I don't install a lot of apps, I don't have a lot of email accounts syncing (don't get a lot of emails too), etc. Like i've never encountered any of the lag that they talk about before and i spend most of my time with Pixel devices as my main phone over the past few years.

But for heavier users, I believe the ceiling for Pixel series is lower than other flagship devices in the same category. So easier to hit that ceiling, and once hit will start to lag. For Op7 ceiling is definitely much higher with so much ram, storage, and processing power. haha.

i considered myself not a heavy user and still do proper housekeeping periodically to keep apps to a minimum where possible but also don't want to wish to limit myself by restricting how many apps or rmb not to strain the phone too. i feel average users should just use the phone without caring all these. the expectation for me is the phone must keep up to what its being thrown at, while an occasionally small lag is fine (i'm not that unreasonable ). based on my xr experience, really smooth but i did encounter a small lag even in iphone from time to time. so far, op7 is on par with xr smoothness after a week of usage and haven't really experience any lag that makes me want to pull out my hair yet lol :o hope it stays tihs way even after a year or 2. i know this phone isn't that ex to expect so much, but 8gb rams is really amazing coz my laptop only 4gb rams whahahahah

if camera is your biggest priority, just stick with pixel la. even iphone or samsung also can't compete in terms of camera quality given their high flagship prices

but you gotta endure with the lag, like what those amdk said in youtubes that it's so frustrating to use the phone lol

a painful decision, so see what you really want :o

Bf's pixel 2 xl, my 3a xl and 3 on Android q beta and we don't even experience lags. Plus we play red tides on it with minimum ultra graphics quality.. This is coming from an apple fangirl who has iPad pro 11 and iPhone xs, apple watch, MacBook pro etc

I don't use the camera very often. I tend to use it on family outings in bursts. And then for occasional pictures.

But...

With my Pixel I can take a photo safe in the knowledge that no other phone could have taken a noticeably better one at that time.

That's based on reading every review out there. No one is saying that the camera matches Samsung, Huawei or Pixel.

It's not a bad camera. It's a good one. But it's not a great one.

Get some mi 9 range interim. 400+. No point spend more as it's temporary
