it's for downie like you to feed yourself when you are hungry
:D
Lol i no need to talk much... U slowly entertain yourself. Post a question, people answered u by providing u the links, and it is obvious what are the differences. This shows you are just too lazy to do your own research and waiting for spoonfeeding. Cheers

Is the additional topup of 300 worth to purchase the pro version instead of the normal if camera is not a priority for usage?

Doesn't answer the question. Anyone else?

If you analyze your response, you should see why people jumped on you...

Kind of a conceited response from a newbie when bro Gary actually replied to your question.

Then you started attacking bro KeYoKe and Panda who are helpful bros here.

So you're acting so entitled..please stop and let's continue with useful posts please. Thank you.

Some points for u to consider
1. Wireless charging
2. 120hz vs 90hz
3. Camera
4. Slightly bigger screen

Probably only #2 is kind of more priority than the others. But another 30hz for $300 bucks hmmm. Btw are u using the pro or non-pro version? Any issue with the display after the os update?

I think after the recent updates the camera on the oneplus 8 isn*********t half bad. You can go watch the video from pocket now haha. I think Jaime riveria was quite impressed with the camera after a few updates hit the phone.

Bingo... And side track, i like the way he says his name :s13:

Just a random question, maybe out of topic but need to ask those oneplus old birds for some opinion.

For a new user to Oneplus phones should i get oneplus 7T pro or oneplus 8.

What I like about:
Love the full screen on 7T pro
Love the pop up front camera

Love the latest SD865 on 8
Love the battery size on 8

Love the 90hz on both 7T and 8

Having a "meh~" about 8 Pro. (Just my own opinion)
Neutral about 8 Pro cause I think its too big and heavy and costs more for features i don really want or need. In my opinion.
Neutral about the 120hz, big camera bump, wireless charging, wrap charge (cause I have powerbanks haha)
But loveee the bezel thin screen on 8 Pro.

Any OnePlus users care to share opinion on the cameras/photo quality between 7T pro to 8 Pro?

Thanks in advance!

Then my answer to u is go with non pro

Save the 300 bucks. Economy not good due to covid bro

And also:
30hz difference u cant really tell unless u pixel peep. And 60h to 90hz is good enough and conserve battery life as 120hz is taxing on battery. Comparing 90hz and a 120hz side by side of course u will notice a difference. But if u dont compare 2 phones together u wont really notice. U will notice more difference moving from 60hz to 90hz definitely

Im using pro version, no issues with display and think no one else here having issues as well. Definitely will have some green tint at super low brightness as i need to set expectations right, that is the downside of ANY amoled panels, but how often do u use your phone at lower then 10 percent brightness? Only when u are in bed at night.

Since u dont need the better cameras, off you go with op8

8 pro has the similar camera array as 7t pro, so expect similar results

I will still spend on newer technology though. Why? Because u are already spending, why not just get something which is newer for a bit more?

If buy online e.g. shopee ? Is it no warranty?? I see their prices much better than local

let me spoonfeed you gao gao,
Yes you can buy online
Yes it has warranty, 1 to 3 months for export set
Prices which are better than local (i assume you mean official oneplus store) are most likely export set, with shorter warranty.

I second this hahaha. And I think the price difference is not very very substantial. I think I saw 7 pro going for like 800-900 on carousell. Not even 7T pro :/
