yeah, it's too troublesome. And sucks that local set have this issue. Worst is the support which is a turnoff. Otherwise a great phone.

Ya sucks to keep doing this step. I’m giving it another benefit of doubt because previously after downgrading I cleared cache but didn’t clear data right after downgrading. Next time I’ll do both and hope it’s the last time I’m doing this.

Btw I noticed that if downgrade from oxygen 11, it seems like a partial installation due to 2 observations (the hydrogen and oxygen icon pack is gone and when u try to update via ota it will fail at 99% and ask to redownload the full package instead and then after updating it the icon pack will be back).

I'm not sure if the partial package content is the one that fixed the gpay issue and when the full package is reinstalled, the issue will be back.

Not working for me after retrying. Will not actively resolve this issue already since I got my iPhone for transport as backup.

and also face unlock..don’t work well with gpay activation on lockscreen, so keep it off if you are commuting with gpay.

Is the 8 Pro still a good buy? I don't use GPay.

Coming from a S20+ (Exynos). But now looking at either the 8 Pro or the S20+ (Snapdragon).

I can't OTA update for DA.
It prompt to download full update OTA.
Will it wipe my data?

I love op8 pro more than S20 ultra (used to own it). Pretty certain your experience with it would be better than your current one if you don't use gpay.

Thanks for your reply! Now will just wait for them to go on sale :D OR just wait for the 8T Pro :s22:

Next thing to observe is the gpay liao. Now I can’t use it at all not even retail. It will keep scanning and has the “this doesn’t work” error.
