Went to City plaza Mister Mobile. Installed the glass protector on OnePlus 8 pro. Nice and good. Can fit with original case. No problem. 28 bucks all in.

For gpay, I installed via the one in Playstore (Google Pay Singapore). It works as well.

Do try and see whether does it help you.

Gpay on public transport is not working. Had contacted Gpay support. Advise to remove and add the cards all over again.

tried factory reset the phone with the latest stock ROM. Gpay nor Gpay SG still cannot work on public transport. Mine is local set IN2023.

problem is not on gpay, it is on OnePlus end. factory reset or gpay app update.. problem will still persist on stock local sets.

Hit and missed

When I go on bus cannot detect a **** when I alight I rub around it keep buzzing then I switch off the screen and hold it at the reader while turn it on it work..

My old Samsung Galaxy s20 give better experience no need to worry just tap n go

guess yours is the same issue with the rest of us local set.
Some can't event get it to work.
At least urs still able to tap.

I did some experiment on how it behave why it detect and why it's not.. now see if unlocking the phone will it detect correctly.. my lrt station pretty quite and I have somewhere to go I can slowly scan n find out where is the sweet spot

A tad disappointed with the phone especially coming from s20+ I thought this is one of the best and I can get away from exynos garbage but it present new set of issue for me to bother about. mrt tapping and qr scanning effect me the most as now becoming a hassle to do..

I read about flashing other country rom I don't mind trying but I confused which one to use some say da some say as

it's not really difficult you can just follow the steps by step guide.. downgrade your OS to 10.5.5 under AA restore (will lose all your data)(XDA forum guide) and get oxygen updater app DL the latest BA full setup and do a local update ... you will get to BA.

so the variant I need is ba ok will see, just tap in again it work but not without some rubbing, I felt the reader is somewhere just below the OnePlus logo.. it seem take some time like 2 second to capture.. I also follow the instructions to enable nonstandard NFC in developer mode as well..

Please with ba rom got any limitation? Anything not working locally?

I notice something might be helpful

If you unlock your phone it work instantly, maybe someone can confirm this. I try twice with the phone unlock it detect alright but if it's lock and screen on it become funny

It worked on the translucent free case.

Confirm see thru case works with the glass protector from Mister Mobile. I am using it now. Not bad for the price.
