i saw on some youtube videos that there was a charging animation that shows the percentage rising while it's on charge. anyone knows how to turn it on??

I downloaded gpay and there's the pre installed gpay in the phone. Do I need to change the default app for the gpay that i downloaded?

Local sets are AA, not sure if got any impact on 5g and volte roll out in future though

Even if u go export set, they will flash global rom too. But unsure is it AA, BA, or DA rom

U can always use msmtool tool reflash or wait for oneplus tp upload the zip file to flash via software update

Use the included charger n cable. No way to turn it on or off

What cases are y'all using and where did y'all buy them from?

Using oneplus quantum bumper case. Bought from taobao

A couple of observations coming from OnePlus 7T:

1. Haptics and loudspeaker quality slightly better on 7T for me.

2. Gaming touch latency is much better on the 8T

Haptics is version 2.0, your 7t should be version 1.0

I never touch flashing before and I don't have a handy pc at home to do that so I'm hoping I'll have no need to flash things at all. Waiting for updates is fine with me, I usually play games or use for contact purposes only. Hahaha

Ya la on paper it's 2.0 but I feel it's got a more hollow feeling than 7T. Maybe because 7T more densely packed because slimmer
