Actually if want to flash to other version just see if got newer rom, then use oxygen updater to do a full upgrade can already right?

No need to use msmtool so mafan. That's what I did for my 7T.

Yes if you don't mind losing the volte, then no issue. You can wait for a later firmware and then update.

Oxygen updater will only update your version.. and not change version.. wanna change version need to download the firmware from website and do local upgrade..

But once you get the hang of using the msmdownload tool, it's much easier to just do it. I've flashed from one version to another and back. Quite fun

Yes, KB05AA is the global version. The other 2 are Europe and India rom.

If you want volte, don't update to the latest firmware. For me, There's not a whole lot of difference with the latest firmware update.

Ah yes it will..but it can be a long wait for a later version if you don't use the msm tool.

Found one issue 8T . Is the edge touch issue when using gesture navigation. Not sure u guys notice or not , if u r in gesture navigation in potrait mode u wont able to use ur whatapps voice recording . Cz somehow on the edge there it isnt able to let u hold. The only work around is pop ur keyboard up then press voice record.

That's why need to enable advanced mode if you flashing sideways. Got risk if flashing sideways so do it at your own risk. But got mtmtool if brick la

Finally got my hands on at one of demo set at jurong point... To be honest I was quite disappointed with the quality build...the back felt like plastic
