I just tested the charging from 1% to 100%. Took 23mins

Just earlier, when it was at battery indication is at 75% I used a 100w c to c display watt cable and found that it charges at max 40w from 75-85%. I've activated the rapid charging in between and there is no increase in charging speed. Makes me wonder if that rapid charging is for show only or only works on a certain %.

Also the speedy charging only works on the original 160w charger. It is not PD enabled hence I think all PD chargers like those 65-100w and PD powerbanks doesn't work to speed up it's charging.

Proprietary charging standard lah need use their brick to enable supervooc charging.

eh i thought green colour should be Indian set. China got the blue one while Indian got the green one. maybe is L3 for the entire series?

It's from china and all e Chinese apps inside and back of e box also Chinese words and state "Only for Sale and warranty in Mainland China" But the light green color is nice. Manufactured date is April 28 so it's new enough.

Can I buy the phone from China.
What will be the language/ can I change it to English?
Can I also install Google play.
Also can the bootloader be easily unlocked.

I somewhat asked a similar question in another thread. the phones that are worth considering like 9R, 9RT, 10R are only sold in CN and IN. Getting IN set is out of the question.

so we get sold CN sets flashed to Global ROM. A long long long time ago, OP used to be very easy to change ROM, just download into phone & use system updater to flash then do clean reset.

Nowadays, that updater is gone and to flash other region i think u need to unlock bootloader. Allegedly, so long you lock back, ur safe but aaftr redaing numerous complaints/confusion from others online, i think lock back bootloader aslo no L1.

and confirm CN no L1. they don't need it anyway..

I want to flash global rom as well. China set is like 200 sgd cheaper. Unlock bootloader need to be like Xiaomi wait for 10 days? Also, is it easy to mess things up, like brick the phone

I haven't done this for OnePlus phones in a long time. Anyway, most CN sets are already flashed to Global ROM so you don't have to do much.

Oneplus unlock bootloader is immediate unlike xiaomi

China set in sg stores are global ROM. Just uninstall those useless Chinese apps
