screen only flickers when using google? what about when scrolling websites or a long form document saved on your phone?

so u turn the brightness all the way to zero and the screen is not totally black?

I only notice the screen flickering when using google...not sure about chrome...i guess its bcos of the 90hz...can be better optimise in future update for sure...

Screen dim isnt totally dark...i would say nord minimum brightness like samsung on 1/4 brightness level about there

Like i said...hardware wise we have good value...5G, 90hz refresh, 6.44" big bright fluid amoled display with ultra wide selfie cam, unique alert slider, big 4115mah batt , 30t warp charge, oxygen os etc...

Though currently still not perfect but no os is...hence can only wait for oneplus to push more updates to fix bugs...

Awaiting android 11 as well...oneplus will be 1 of the 1st few companies to get it as well...

U referring to the 6/64 version ?

there is seller says have stock for 12/256 version which is a india set. so i checking around whether can buy or stick to EU version. i yet to get the pricing, i think should be cheaper than EU version as india retail price is cheaper.

so far the difference is lesser LTE bands in india set. the rest seems like same specs.

Just tested Google Now. its like camera flash in your eyes when you scroll the screen sia. Can trigger epilepsy sia

Lucky I dont use Google Now. With this issue, it's gonna be Google Never or Google Night Fever depending on your tolerance level

Not really sure the lesser lte bands will affect how u use it...it wont be unusable for sure just some minor inconvenience i guess...so end of the day its your comfort zone and the pros/cons of cost saving...hydrogen os can be easily change to oxygen os vice versa with guides from xda

Personally i noticed :

1. No volte
2. Google offline bug
3. Screen flickering when scrolling thru google
4. Night mode not working well in ambient display and gaming mode
5. Dim level not low enough at minimum brightness
6. No individual sound profile for each apps hence if listen to music and gaming sounds will come out together

Off hand can remember these few...some might appear nitpicking but thats bcos i wish for the software to improve

Forgot to mention face unlock...we know its there for convenience sake...it doesnt have the required open eyes feature which samsung has...yes i can unlock with my eyes closed, worse i can even unlock my phone even with my mask on...try it*

Dont think so...since it was launched with android 10 it will probably be in that state...only thing is to update once u get the phone only

yeah. can't find pattern on the trigger. But OP is finally looking into it so hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Oh. You fgt to mention file xfer issues. You cant xfer files from pc to phone right? For me it's just large files that get corrupted but I think its more of the old phone issue than the nord issue.
