guys i tried changing to ART runtime and it messed up my phone...i dont know why...now i am stuck in recovery..my phone keeps rebooting into cyanogen recovery..then i managed to flash color os but now it keeps rebooting into coloros recovery...my windows 7 cant recognize my device...how am i to flash a cm11s.zip?

I assume u are not rooted.

It's pretty easy to resolve the unrecognized device part by simply update your computer drivers.

In Recovery mode, do u see ADB Sideload?

I was rooted with CM11S latest 33...i tried changing to ART then it rebooted and kept rebooting into CM recovery...i tried changing back to ColorOS with the help from XDA thread...it now boot into ColorOS but keeps rebooting into ColorOS recovery

Earlier i had trouble getting my PC to recognize my phone...downloaded the drivers and it work...in adb..adb devices return my device as 0123456789ABCDEF recovery ...i find that serial number weird...i tried fastboot devices but it kept waiting for device like forever...now i do not know what to do next...feeling helpless...is there any shops or places to repair? i doubt the shop i bought from will assist

That is great that you got your device working...mine is keep rebooting into a recovery and I cant get pass it..damn frustating...running out of ideas...the adb drivers that u gave,,i have that...the only problem is why my phone cant get into fastboot mode

Have u try wipe cache/dalvik/data & see if its help?

Maybe time to flash to other roms.

His phone comes with a twrp recovery with full root.

Binary is install thru SU app.

Bootloader Is fully unlock.

Bro Is able to do a OTA update as well with no problem.

If bootloader is lock. There Is no way to Install alternate recovery and not possible to flash CM as well.

The phone can't detect OS and thus boot into recovery. It's the usual procedure when OS is not present.

It seems he is following the procedure to install back the OS but from what I read. He is missing a step.

Flashing Oppo colorOS is tricky because of partition issue. It's not str4ward and not a solution as well.

All will be fine tomorrow. Will rectify for him. Have ask the Bro to have a good night sleep.

i am not sure on how to re-root from adb as the command fastboot is not working for my device...even the simple root toolkit is not working...my phone refuses to enter into fastboot mode for whatever reasons

i tried adb sideload a stock rom...but it came out as error..adb push a rom to my sd card but i cant access from the ColorOS recovery

cant figure on why it keeps rebooting into recovery...the physical method into fastbood mode (vol + and power button) is not working too
