mehhh I find opo really mehh with the yellow tint issue. If you got this phone in july 14 then it's okay but for now not really recommended.

I have been using the screen equalizer app to balance out the yellow tint but it affects other areas like black background and when you press multitasking you can see this line there.
For eg, on black backgrounds you will see the bottom part is blue because you used the blue to balance out the yellow tint. Went to the park twice to put the phone under sun for 15mins also doesn't help. The phone gets hot after and you will be scared your chips will get fried.

So annoying that every time you reading something on your phone you are second guessing if the bottom is yellow or is it just your eyes.

Current batch still got this problem? Lucky mine dun have.

Sent from an iPhone using GAGT

I thought the yellow tinting should be resolved by now. I bought mine last year (around Oct I think), and along with several others I know who also bought around that time or later, none of us have that issue.

I bought mine in Aug 14. There is a very small yellow band at the bottom. I never noticed it as the Google Ads covers it. It was only on OP all white forum that I saw it.

Today 25 Apr, using Lollipop all white settings menu, it is no where to be seen.

In another words :):s12::s12::s22::s22:

Hi,

I got an OTA update notification for CM12S that I downloaded and tried to install. However, after my device rebooted and the green Android robot with the progress bar appeared, after a while the recovery screen appeared, giving me the option to reboot, apply update, wipe data/cache etc. If I chose reboot, the update doesn't seem to be installed, I'm still on 4.4.4.

What gives?

No, apply update in the recovery menu will just prompt me to select an update file. The update should automatically install once I select install update in the android update screen, but it quit halfway and went to the recovery menu, which is not correct behavior.

Anyway I followed Gex's advice and manually selected the update file in the cache directory and it worked.

Hmm.. On my OPO, CM12/12S/Oxygen updates all have aggravated the multitouch problems...

CM11S 44S wasn't too bad but still, multiple fingers along the X axis won't register properly.

As such, I've downgraded back to 44S via fastboot.

Seems to me 44S is still the most stable. I'm still on 44, been wanting to upgrade to L but keep reading that many users encounter prob and batt life not as good :(
