Yeah the local seller very responsive and local shipping is a lot faster also. After purchase if want to send back to China for repair probably also much easier.

I am currently having the 'failed to get image' bug from Gallery. Anyone have that & know how the solution? On CM11S & not rooted.

Yeah the CM11S gallery app is kinda sucky. You can try to clear the cache in the app info.

I'm using QuickPic together with the stock gallery as I think it's a lot snappier and has more functions.

this seller and another china based seller having price war for the past 2 days. Dunno whether the price will drop till 500-520 range for 64gb or not

So excited!!!!! Ordered the 64gb version from the local seller just now at 7+, total $577 (with shipping) but I got $5 qoo10 discount coupon so total $572, for those who are planning to get from the local seller. Can't wait to get my hands on it! And good to know that it's a new set

Alot of new phones coming out just wait awhile you will see more ppl started to sell then it will be a good time to buy. As alot of ppl here just play the phone for usually less than 1 month then move to another new model

Price which they sold is already very bottom price as they need to pay commission to Qoo "IF" they are getting it directly from OPO. If they are buying from resellers then already lose money.

Price will dropped further only unless OPO drop their pricing first if not then almost impossible.

Its a very good time to buy already for those who needs it before those sellers raise up the price again.

hard to say......for local seller maybe they will just bring a small amount in to test market 1st, if good demand then bring in more. For tiong seller they can afford to stock up more. But i really doubt they will drop the price more since ultimately they still need to pay qoo10 commission while setting a price where they can still make a profit.

send by taqbin will earn my dollar. main reason why i would choose local seller and not cos i dun support tiong but buy tiong products.

but i will wait for ppl who play phones to sell. im not hung up with brandnew or mint or resale sets, i also play, but i don't as fast as them. no dollars to burn like them.

i think u really have to wait long long if wanna get a 2nd hand set for good price. I seen a few sales thread in marketplace where seller is asking for 600+ for used set, which is already way more expensive than qoo10's price for new set.

Cheaper alternative wld be to get a oppo find 7a, install cyanogen mod and tada! You get a 1+1 clone!

Don't run ART if you want everything to work, all apps run on dalvik only apart Might experience abit of crashes. But overall CM11S no problem

Here's a list from the official OPO forums that list the differences between CM11S and CM11 nightlies.

-OPO specific kernel
-Custom lockscreen (optional)
-Double-tap to wake support
-Quick boot (hibernation)
-Capacitive / on-screen nav buttons toggle
-OPO screen calibration (search for Supercurio's latest posts on G+)
-Custom CM camera & gallery app
-Gapps built-in
-AudioFX instead of DSPmanager

So these are the features that are either closed source or not found in the CM nightlies. Some are probably already in the nightlies like the double tap to wake function. Hopefully CM will allow some others to go to the nightlies like the Lockscreen.

In fact the lockscreen is the only reason I'm still on CM11S coz I really like it especially the cool effects when music is being played. I'm also a bit sian of the original ring lockscreen that has been on CM since the early android days.
