Just enjoy the OPO first. I'm already worried about the developer scene for this phone because people are still begging for invites. I'm afraid all the rom developers may just skip this phone and we won't get to see more roms next time.

No reason to worry about a new phone that is still a rumor now.

OPO definately over-estimating their own popularity and customers' tolerance for their nonsense business tactics. I guess OPO has never heard of the "fool me once, fool me twice" saying before. Sooner or later, they will go from "flagship killer" to "killed by ownself".

Thing is what if they make the OPO readily available without invites and the OPT invites only, global and no Chinese version??

Don't think that will happen since they are releasing version 2, what i cannot understand is why are they flooding the china market yet keep claiming no production capacity for international models . Essentially it's the same phone. Seems like a nationalist thing, not for foreigners. Foreigners have to beg for it through the invite system

A new model probably wont happen till at least end of the year becuz for now there really isnt much they can improve on for hardware specifications. Snapdragon 805 or better is a must. Bigger screen n better battery is a natural progression. 4gb ram wont happen till 64bit architecture becomes available. By then, will people even bother about OPO as a company if their reputation is in tatters due to the way they handle their 1st product release? Cheap pricing and hyped up PR methods can only get you so far.

You can ask the vendor not to put value of item on the package but then also no guarantee lar. I am following the 2 cheena sellers on qoo10 to see if any of the buyers complain they kenna tax.

errr.....no........qoo10 can get for around $440 when apply discount coupon. Also the vendor on Lazada is most likely from china so if any problems with the phone you may have problems sending back for repairs. But lazada has 7 day returns policy so u can return n get a refund if the phone is faulty upon delivery.

Need help as I'm a noob in flashing andriod phones. I have a china set 64GB OPO and wants to flash to CyanogenMod OS.

Can anyone linked me a URL that will steps by steps teaches how to do it as i saw that someone commented that after flashing it becomes 16GB instead. Thus, not sure which one is the correct ones to follow.

By the way, guess i have to unlock the bootloader and root it before flashing right?

can go download the CM11S rom from CyanogenMod cm-11.0-XNPH25R then flash it into the phone using the ColorOS recovery mode. Just shut off the phone,press volume down and power button together can liao very simple one
