for the manual method of applying the CM12 image from the technobuzz site.
If i had done a backup using the TWRP and wipes everything, can i restore the backup after flashing CM12S ?
I think should be fine but i never used TWRP before so boh guarantee hor. Anyway inside the method, they only wipe the cache or delvik cache, not wipe your phone contents mah.

I used the same method except i never even backup, all my files still remain leh so in theory you no need backup but it is better to do so lah, just in case

If you mean full backup in TWRP then yes, you can always restore your TWRP backups to the point before you flashed CM12.

So as long you don't wipe your media folder or internal storage in TWRP, then it's ok.

The CM12 zip you download is probably a flashable zip file for custom recoveries, so your TWRP recovery will still be around for you to flash stuff and restore TWRP backups.

That's not exactly a big deal - it's not like you lost the baseband forever - like some other devices.

Clean is good. And newborn piss isn't as clean as you think. :D

not even 3G or H+.
every other minute, the pyramid goes blank and the notification bar will have no signal. then it refreshes.

i try to create a new APN from this site :

https://apn-singapore.gishan.net/settings/os_1_2_android_0_internet_settings_for_starhub.php

and it does not work as well.

Hmm, I have encountered similar problems with my opo even when it was on cm11s. It will intermittently lose signal and have no bar and only go airplane mode and back will reacquire the network. So far after cm12s it was stable.
