It is difficult to differentiate the replica from the real stuff nowadays as the AAA quality are getting better and closer to the real model. The best way to avoid getting replica is to buy from official stores. Some visible tell-tales come from the poorer quality of the replicas. The sewing finish, the holes of the insoles, the curvature of the OT stripes and the material of the shoe used. Logos on the sole should only appear on Mexico 66 Lauta series. Next, you should check the colorway of the model do exist and was sold in various regions in the world. If the colorway is special and you do not see it selling in most retail stores, more or less those are replica ones. Arch support is also often not provided for those replica ones, causing discomfort to your legs if you wear them out the whole day. The gluing of the soles for some replicas are also not good and your shoes are more likely to "open mouth".

For Mexico 66 DX, there is a special sole, maybe you can compare against the DX pictures I have in my MO thread.

Hi , thanks for the reply .
I saw the photo of my shoes's sole on your MO ,
Item name ; Mexico 66 DX NYL - White/Daphne
Just that the colorway is different .

here's a photo of mine ;
buyer said its from ltd edt . didn't really take a close look at the receipt cause was rushing for time .

Sole is the same as your Mexico 66 DX .

Are those counterfeit goods or ?

Yes it is obvious they are, Mexico 66 Deluxe for $119. You ought to be kidding. You can't even get them for $350 even you are to fly to Japan and carry back your own. Original from OEM - playing with words. :s22:
