Ah I see... yeah, am going down the showroom to check it out later as well.
Wonder whether it’s worth it to pay an additional 10k for the mid tier trim, or the basic one would do.

Would you happen to know the difference?

Do you know, the intellilux matrix led, BMw/Audi will charge you at least 15k alone. 360cam? Adaptive cruise control etc. All totally worth 10k. If mod outside, it will at least cost 2x more not to mention warranty issue. I add ACC to my golf already cost me 1.3k

Go ask SE. it is their work to explain leh. Seeing is believing bro. Go ask them. AG should be able to get loan free deal. They are quite relax to T&C. Dont need loan etc to get cheaper cars, at leadt when i talked to them when viewing Astra last time. I cannot emphasise how worth it is with the 10k more trim. Maybe you are those who dont need these and that, not bother to even want LED headlight. Then ok. Fyi, if i install LeD headlight (not intellilux equivalents), i meed to fork out 2.5k already.

2.5k for the aftermarket led headlight part u mean? Actually can just change the bulb itself.. Philip led headlight bulb is abt 200-300 per pair, it fit well with projector halogen headlight

Yup it depent on individual, if u are savvy with car , and modified a lot 1 get the basic , and go out and mod . But opel I don’t know got many aftermarket parts to play around anot as it is not a popular brand

Test drive the insignia today. SE shared that the extra 10k for the premium edition is not really that worth it. Though, he did said it was ultimately up to me.

I never drove a conti car Nor a Cat B car, and the drive is very different.
It’s much quieter and I couldn’t tell that I was above the speed limit while driving over Bartley flyover.

U sit inside everyday why not worth. My first entry level conti was bare bones. Initially psycho myself say its alrite, i dun need. But time goes on get feeling its half baked. Then regret step in. My advice dun get bare bones get the interior upgrade.

Memory and electric seats
Pedestrian and rear detection
Brown leather seats

While 2 to 5 I personally feel is not a game changer, I would very much like LED lights.

Like SE said, it is up to you. For what all these are worth, i wil pay for it. Contrary to your preference, i feel all except LED are the reasons to pay the 10k more. Because, OPEL lack online tech support, you can’t retrofit the rest, literally, except LED headlight. You have an option to pay bit more to have a complete car but not my Golf. So i went for the trendline which is barebone, really BARE. Ok because i can add some features with the saving i got from basic trim. I do not need to add everything too like your gamechanging theory.

Personally, i do not like insignia shape, and its drivetrain. But it is a more complete car relative to other options and even those at 200k price level, most if not all of these are not equipped. So you really get a lot for a lot less. Like old saying, you never have it, you never miss it.

Still, up to you.

Maybe you can share what other options are you looking at? If you do not want all these, probably there are other cheaper options unless you want a big car.

Btw, how much is the OMV? Any t&c to get that price?

You get the wrong drivetrain, you feel worst because you use it everytime you use the car. Hahah. Fanciful radio, not important, light, visual needs, memory seat, ok if mostly one driver, etc . Don’t breakdown, highest priority! Hahaha

OMV for the basic trim is around 29k, while the mid trim is 33k.

Am looking for luxury sedan, as Wife and myself have plans to expand the family. Since the COE is rather Low (in my perspective), might as well change I Guess...

It was selling at 146 back in june 2018 if you read review. Wala, you got a good deal. You pay 8k more for all additional features. Memory seat should be AGR.

Yes memory seats are a must. Anyone drives ur car, push a button u get back ur fav position.
