not sure if we can try asking the NLT staff when they are doing the installation at our neighbourhood?

Yes, you can write them for info regarding to your location.

As i did wrote to them regarding to my flat, which they replied smoothly.
My problem is due to error in my postcode is not correct.

http://rollout.netlinktrust.com/

When i input my in-correct address detail, a notice pop-up.
Follow the instruction to request for more info.:D

is trunking and repositioning possible without engaging NTL

Hi the current red wires are the FO wires before renovation, now with reno, it's just loose dangling on the floor.

because i did re-wiring throughout the entire unit, the TP is now no longer aligned to new electrical trunking. OCD me wants to shift it near the electrical trunking to be neat.

on another note, the current entry is drilled from a hole in the middle of wall beneath my new false ceiling(previously cornice).

called NTL, but they are unable to provide site assessment or adequate advice over the phone about my layout unless i pay the fee first.

Is it possible to drill a new entry point(green lines) and enter from the false ceiling and come out and run above the windows like the red line?

May I ask

I am moving to an unit where the previous tenant has used the ONT for a ISP. Problem is I don’t know which one and neither does the agent.

How can I find out ? I was told it is much faster to activate a new fiber internet line if we use back the same ISP and hence no need any set up ?

Sorry. Super noob :)

Why do you not choose the ISP of your choice instead to rely on quick install.

Go immediate to order now and who knows it will be up & ready within a week.

Both NetLink Trust and ISP staff are required for activation & installation.

The only delay are the misplaced order and appointments due to heavy orders taken in events/shows promotions.

If should there due to previous ISP not deactivated properly then you may reconsider this option.
There was 1 case where this happened as someone wrote & read here!

You can call Netlink Trust to enquiry about it. You can still use port 2 on the TP for your ISP.
