Most of the banking apps ive found out, works, including DBS etc

between this China ROM/ Set vs your old Oppo phones [ bought from Singapore international if any ]

was there any major problems ?

looking to replace for my wife's [ mispurchase sharp r8s pro ] with either x8ultra or x8 pro [ but i dont really have the know how on the dimensity 9400 performance, and most of the youtubers arent really using their phone fully as means of transport etc.


Tossing this in this thread to see if the folks here :

- battery lasting full day, with heavy youtube, Teams / Facebook messenger calls
- x8pro if those could chime in, since i dont really have faith or experience with MediaTek

Anyone tried whether the multi-screen- connect between the 2 will work?

Just to reply to my own message. Tried and tested. OPPO Find X8 Ultra China ROM works very nicely with SG ROM Oppo Find pad 3. Multiscreen connect works.
Oppo account used is SG version for both devices. no issues, just in case anyone wants to try this combo.

Best of both worlds, CN Rom phone, but Global Rom tablet

So the NFC on keyboard to connect works? I have the pad but can't connect with my Vivo phone. Tap the NFC also no response.

I used a Xfold3 Pro before this.
The nfc to the oppo pad 3 does not work.
The nfc to pad3 function only works with the Find X8 Ultra

Oneplus 13 and Find X8 Pro.

Oneplus cheaper by around 180 bucks.

Find X8 Pro looks better, more responsive customer service and better camera. Otherwise pretty similar.
So basically I should top up the difference if these 3 are important criteria ya?

Meaning if both were launched the same time , some of you may opt for Oneplus 13 instead?

It depends on how much your value phone camera. If you need a better camera, go for Find X8 Pro, otherwise just go for Oneplus 13.

Both are under 2 years warrenty by Oppo sg, although Oneplus phones are only accepted at the Novena branch. X8 Pro has better camera setup, and has dimensity 9400 cpu, oneplus 13 using Snapdragon 8 elite.
For Shopee 6/25, Oppo is about 1.2k for 512gb after discounts and Oneplus 13 is ~$881 for 256gb and ~$941 for 512gb.

In general, they are pretty neck and neck.
if you want the better camera, get the Find X8 Pro
if you not so into camera and want to save money, Oneplus 13 is the way.

One thing to take note, the Oppo comes with the quick charger and phone case in the box.
The oneplus does not, you need to get it separately which is an additional $70 or so if you tag along with the phone purchase.
