I was at Jurong Point's outlet earlier, phone is selling at $699.

The sales girl offered few freebies.
1. Tempered glass screen protector
2. Original casing
3. Free basic handphone
(If don't want the basic phone can opt for $30 discount or $69 value of accessories in the shop)

Still in a dilemma whether to get R7 Plus or Note 5 :s22:

I have both Note5 and R7+
Note 5 is positively overall a much better performance phone n w much better /faster camera n its unique SPen
R7+ strengths are in its better battery life and ext SDCard support

I also had Note 5 and R7+. Agree with benny about the above mentioned. Also, I still feel R7+ is smoother in terms of ui, though it's only on SD615. Oppo really optimized the budget chipset very well :)

Oh, and the fingerprint scanner of R7+ is better than Note 5's, overall aesthetics also sleeker than Note 5 :)

I am also spoilt by choices over R7+ or S6 or Note 5.
It is between the choice of costing and the overall handling of the phone.

Smooth is the best bet among all.
Seem like not a lot (mass market) are so into Oppo phone. Must say Samsung indeed did a good marketing.

If you buy for your own usage, don't need really care the resale market value.

After all, China branded didn't have much values at the first place. 😀

Best is to get from official retailers for 2 years warranty. Not sure they honour the warranty anot.

By hardware, s6 n Note 5 are differ class.
R7+ is a nice fon...but kinda exp for a midrange. A yr ago, its Flagship, Find 7, similar price.
