What are the accommodation available to stay near USJ or Namba Station if budget is around $250/night for 2A2C(6-11)?

Has anyone tried Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba Furitsutaiikukaikan Nishi?

Toyoko Inn are quite standard throughout Japan. Can't go wrong with it if u ask me. Rooms are small though

Agree that Toyoko Inn is generally a good choice but I am thinking more of the location.

Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba Nippombashi's location was not too convenient for walking around the Namba area and it does not allow overnight luggage safekeeping despite having a relatively big lobby.

¥20,000 for 2 rooms or just 1? Beds in Toyoko would be small if you intend to squeeze everyone into one room.

Dunno about you but when my son hit 6, I put him in as an adult when I was hotel searching cause it is impossible to squeeze with him and wife on a double bed due to his height. In your case, you are probably looking at a 4 person room which is extremely rare other than for ryokans, or 2 rooms.

Anyway, if you want 2 rooms, my favourite budget hotel is The Bridge Hotel near Shinsaibashi. It's 1 stop away from Namba and close enough to walk over.

2 rooms if Toyoko Inn. They only allow 1 child per bed. I have yet to try booking a twin room to fit us all in though. :s13:

Pricing wise, I am not so rigid actually but if at ¥20,000 for a room, it could be comparable to what I will pay at Toyoko Inn. I am prepared to pay a little more to stay near USJ and I guess they would have room suitable for 4 pax in a room.

I won't attempt to squeeze 4 on a queen bed. However, if there are twin rooms with 2 super single or queen beds, it is more than sufficient for us if the hotel allows 2A2C (6-11). :D

Thanks for the recommendation, I will take a look at The Bridge Hotel.

¥20,000 is a little low for a 4 pax room. Also subjected to your travel dates. You probably need to increase a little more. Looks like The Bridge Hotel might fit into your requirements and your budget. You’ll need to get the triple room.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Namba before. Not bad location and smack in the middle of Dotonbori.

250SGD is mainly an estimate budget which can be stretched. Plus if there is no strict restriction by the hotel, a twin room with at least super single beds is actually good enough for us. We don't need quad beds as my kids prefer to sleep with someone.

Last year, we managed to get Hotel Mystays Maihama twin room below 130SGD a night. Though it was just an overnight stay, it was actually comfortable enough for us to feel that an extended stay will be fine too.

Mystays Maihama is cheap because of its location and no frills. Very pocket friendly. If your family especially the children are fine with walking a little to the theme parks, Disney Resort Line and Ikspiari, why not? Others who prefer to be closer to the theme parks and easy access from the Disney Resort Line would have to pay a little more. Accommodation expenses would also depend on your travel period.

There’s no right or wrong as to one’s choice, so look for something that fits within your budget.

Take note that as long as your kids are above a certain age dictated by the hotel, it is considered as required a bed on his/her own. You cant say your kid prefer to sleep with parents means no need bed.

Later, u kena rejected at hotel on that day itself then even more GG.

I'll be travelling to Osaka for the first time in Dec, so not sure if the hotel I've booked suits you.. It's Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba, it has triple rooms for 3A1C. From the map, location seems quite good. Price is around $200+ per room (includes breakfast!!).

Lol. It was just an overnight stay before we shifted to Hotel MiraCosta. But honestly the room size is good enough. Location wise, it is not that great compared to surrounding hotels in the Disney Resorts area but it is good enough to be able to reach the park earlier than setting off from Tokyo areas.

No worried about this. I always check on this. This is also why I indicated that the children age is 6 - 11 as there are hotels who considered children to be 2 and below or 5 and below.

Thanks. I will check this hotel out too. I have been to Osaka before but have yet to find one accomodation that will be a to go hotel yet.

Ya.. Plus it offers connecting rooms for >4 persons. That's the reason I chose this hotel. Location wise, it seems a bit far from the subway station (nearest is >10mins walk away) but that's not an issue.

Haha after this trip, chance is, I won't be coming back to Osaka cos there are so many other places in Japan (plus rest of the world) to explore..

depends on the day of the week. If during weekdays, think you should be able to find quite a number of hotels meeting your requirements. However, if it is weekend, will be tough. You may have to consider the business district instead, which are cheaper during the weekend then weekdays.

Alternatively, try find hotels with 2 double beds rooms
