Suggest change a new one. And I also realised that the installer only used two wires instead of three. Third for ground I think

I'll just throw and change to KDK(Pana)/AOS/Rheem.

The repair+transport costs doesn't make sense to have it repaired since there's no official warranty anymore.

jovan brand so many problems?
Wait till you see leaky Ariston :s13:

Reliable brand can consider one Japanese brand trusted by PG and boomers call KDK.

That's a Panasonic, this model has the older series shower head compared to the main unit.

Our Joven heater is now causing the circuit breaker to trip every time we try to turn it on. Purchased in March 2023, i think its just past the 2 year warranty period.

Is this something that can be fixed if we call a technician? Or do we need to buy a brand new one? If we need to buy, can anyone recommend a reliable brand? A water heater should not be breaking 2 years after we purchased it...
Keep tripping better change and get a qualified electrician to install for you. There are cases where the circuit breaker don't trip and people get electrocuted to death.

Make sure the electrician test that the new unit will trip the circuit breaker if short circuit. Nowadays too many Alibaba electrician/installer.

Maybe issue is not with the water heater…it might be the wiring already rotting…..don’t keep pulling the switch up in the main board when trip…it might affect the overall circuit breaker that’s outside your house…as what other ppl say….should get a electrician to check the heater and the wire

Where to find a technician to repair? The joven service center is not open today. And how much should it cost?
Repair liao, you dare to use or not?

The metal part or plastic likely use cheap one, water leak plus electricity. don't think simple repair can fit

Can. Call the technician and ask for a quote. If too expensive, just buy new ones. Next time don't buy expensive ones. Those usual ones will do and they cost less than $80. Almost no point to repair. Though the installation cost can be another $60. I recalled I ordered one with installation charges included for $80+...

Think.. most thing has life span ba. My experience with storage heater 25L is that it last around 5 to 8 years. After that will keep tripping.
5 years seems good already for me.
I have ready about Aston brand storage heater horrible storages of the rods. So I think keep to the same brand, piping same, still works for me .
