Would u like to share which ID you went to? We've been sourcing online eg via Qanvast but just doing the finger-walking, no action yet

For current home, we have engaged classic design. Not fantastic but not bad either, I'm ok going back to them but my Wife wants to try out others.

She applied the free quote in Qanvast and so far, ID named Carpenters replied. Then she got a few replies from Renopedia. Omni Design, The Interior Lab, and Promesa Artz. So this weekend will be busy ID shopping...

Bro, u had just mentioned what I wanted to. Had the same temp shiokness and paid a premium for my current unit. But all gone within 3 yrs of moving in.
Actually we brought quite high floor and that site is near swb camp, so I just hopping that they won't build so tall and fast within this 5-10 yrs haha

Pricing looks great. We have to pay close to 1k for Wayonnet. Probably will go back to them again. Ironically, the most important part of choosing the unit is done by my wife's sister. Anyway, the master will help to resolve any issue found later.

Don't think I would want to hack the new flooring. If so, I would probably want to inform them not to lay in the first place. My Wife is thinking changing the entrance to the kitchen cos in the Vista layout, the entrance is facing the main door. If can see stove from main door, it's not so good fs.
1k got include come down to site to check?

The thing I want to do is
Wall paper
Painting
Minor Relay of electrical point
Floor polishing
Inbuilt shoe cabinet with bench
TV wall features
Will be shopping around this weekend

Yes, quite detailed process.

Will visit 2 times. First to get all the readings before reno. Then, meet up to discuss the points to take note for reno and dates to start and end work. After that, another visit to check any more adjustments required. If not, close off with last meeting to get a report.

All within the stated cost...

Haha 5% dp is just tip of the iceberg
The rest like reno, furniture, dinner and honey moon would be the killer
Can understand totally, having gone through that 8-9 years ago. Mine was stretched only few years. I won't say it's good or bad. If it happens fast, it's deep and short pain. If it drags too long, it's like being poor (as in no savings) for long time...

That's why I suggest on getting sponsors...

We're seriously considering purchasing a unit at parc life and are looking specifically at stack 40. Is there a reason why this stack hasn't sold as well as the others? Was considering verandah (don't really mind the sun) but don't like that the kitchen and yard is separated from each other.

Actually not advisable to get this type of unit which risk having your view gone. Remember u paid a premium for the view...

Looking at the siteplan and price in comparison. The PSF for Stack 24,27,40 and 27 (Only taking Viva units in comparison) is in the same range, $771/psf to $782 psf for a #08 unit.

Stack 40 & 41 is nearer to the Gen Set but stack 40 have the greatest distance of unblock view. Buyers tend to avoid stacks near Gen Set. Thus generally, Stack 24 and 27 will sell better than stack 40 & 41.

I think it should be fine. The designer has even left out a possible stack 43 which can make a lot of money. The Gen set is surrounded with trees. If there's serious radiation, those playing tennis will have to wear suits.

Verandah's main attraction is balcony access from kitchen. Those without would need the yard to have some airflow or else will be too closed up.

I saw some balconies in SkyPark has wooden doors that can enclose the balcony and seems to be able to block off rain, allowing air to enter as well...

Not sure where can find this

Went to check out the showroom, quite impressed. Not a very experienced home buyer (lived in same HDB for about 15 years with parents!), what do people think of quality of fixtures? Agent was q active in point out how Fraser has done the kitchen and the toilet (mounted toilet, haha).

The fixtures generally should be common, of decent quality.. color scheme for kitchen suits our taste so it's great. At least they throw in the Samsung digital door lock.
