I'm actually looking for wood work contractor rather than ID.
The thing I want to do is
Wall paper
Painting
Minor Relay of electrical point
Floor polishing
Inbuilt shoe cabinet with bench
TV wall features
Will be shopping around this weekend

If you hv the design ideas and time to manage the contractor and project, then do away with ID.

Wife ID plan:
Stone featured wall, hack down a room and replace with glass, timber flooring for bedrms.. dunno how much will these cost..

My Fren done this for her hdb

Hacking + patch up= $950
Full ht temper glass = $4000
Supply & install 3 full ht pillar & pelmet = $1340

Thanks Glacier and Pelangi. Was originally looking at Bellewoods but that didn't pan out so maybe this may be a viable option. Also visited the Brownstone and Criterion showflats. The finishing for those really looked great!

i suggest you go near the site to see and feel before you commit for both
initially we choose criterion but the distance to MRT is a big turn off for us.
as for brown stone, my gf stays just beside the MRT tracks, the sound of the tracks every 5 mins is very deafening, cant imaging that we had to live with it for 10 yrs

The fixtures generally should be common, of decent quality.. color scheme for kitchen suits our taste so it's great. At least they throw in the Samsung digital door lock.

I think you mean the digital door lock from the Yale. Samsung would be for visionaire

CDL quality... you get what you pay for. At least you won't get less than what you have paid for Parc Life

Oh ya you're right, just chked my msg from prop agent last time . but only black, can't choose silver or gold (although all colors were shown in their advertisements in showflat tv )

Well, hopefully! I went to the Bellewoods to survey the unit we were interested in and while I can't say I scrutinized everything, the laminate flooring in the rooms were really bad from how they felt like under the soles of my feet. Still wanted to buy it though. :/

Nah, it isn't about whether it's ready. Call me a sucker but I liked the high ceilings in that unit. Lol.

There would be updated floor plan from developer? Had thought the one together with lawyers documents are finalised? Had wanted to produce it for ID design..

Ya there should be one detail drawing,without the furnitures, to plan for Id design.

Haha, my wife has warned about labelling her as ks. Anyway, she has scheduled 1 or 2 visits per Sunday. Will see how it goes

I prefer to sell after I'm almost ready to move (so that I don't have to look for place to stay during the window period). If it's really around 1st quarter TOP, then I would put it for sale beginning next year. Anyway, it's better than 2nd quarter, as it may drag till lunar 7th month
