Do you have any working experience?

Do you have your company recommendation letter or company sponsorship?

If no, just shut up & get the above stated to get into NUS BTech courses!

does anyone know of Part Time NUS BTech courses??
What can we do with this??
And possible for us to apply??

Laptop Necessary?

Hi,

Can any current students tell me whether a laptop is necessary for the part time dip in infocomm n digital media at republic poly?
I already have a android tablet, a linux netbook mainly for surfing the web and a desktop at home and would rather not have to spend more $$. Thanks

I applied UniSIM already and got chance to get into July intake next year... sadly... NUS and NTU dont allow us as I asked them already.
I actually hope to go NTU but :(

Well great to hear that UniSIM is accepting our dip. Anyway i myself never pin such high hopes as to be able to enroll into NUS/NTU. Even FT students have problems enrolling in, given their eligibility.

Which course did u enroll into?

I just got enrolled into October Intake at NYP for the same course but (Systems and Admin). Course manager said its not a requirement but it helps when there are projects to complete and you wanna do it with others.

Dear Graduates (Part Time Local Diploma),

I suppose there are a few of you in here. Hope any of you would be able to answer my queries.

1) On the certificate that you have received, did they state "Part-time" diploma? Is there any difference in the certificate?

2) How do you think the part time diploma has helped you in the career?

3) Any problems registering into UniSim for degree course? (if any)

Thanks in advance.

All part-time diploma and specialist diploma in NYP, SP can be used to apply in local university.
Upon graduating from Part-Time Diploma In Infocomm & Digital Media in NYP, can this diploma acceptance to apply to NTU/NUS/UniSim?

Is this part-time diploma equivalent to a full-time Diploma?

Can anyone advise me?

To what I know maybe SIM part time can.

Poly part time course remove few modules which full time have.

Don't take part time just to shorten your study whereby you are still young ..
Go for full time if you can...

seriously, all part time poly diploma, private diploma not recognised at all.
I have bachelor degree from overseas Australia University, cannot apply to NUS/NTU/SIM.

That mean NYP part time diploma cannot entry to local university right?

Didn't noticed that there is thread on this, anyway I just graduate from Dip In Tech from Ngee Ann Poly 2 years back.
Any question can ask me.

Unfornuately Uni do not accept Dip In Tech certs so only Uni.
The only route is full time.

It is a waste to take part-time diploma in NYP. Cannot take full-time as need to work. Should i ask for withdrawal? This diploma not valid to entry for part time local degree UniSim?

NYP Part-time Diploma in Infocomm & Digital Media (IT Network and System Administration) will enable you to apply for UniSim part-time programmes.

So not sure should withdraw or not?
