After you reactivate your digital license on your new rig, MS side will update themselves that this license is now tagged to the new hardware. You can sell your old hardware as you like, though do be careful about selling exisiting data drives.

Can I just ask 1 more question please?

Using your method, I should plug in the current OS SDD and reactivate on the new rig post assembly. After that, I am free to do a fresh installation of win11 on my new nvme SDD with the same windows product key right? Then after, I can reformat the old OS SDD and use it in the new build as a normal storage?

Dilemma is now if I should go down to Sim Lim and get help with all these? Of course, gotta pay a fee and get everything done professionally. But I lose the opportunity to learn... again.. since my 1st DIY PC was assembled at SLS too..

The rating though…the carousell $14 got physical box one..feels more authentic lol. Seems like retail version rather than OEM. Just not sure how they got them.

Local SG hologram label? That is cheap for sure with retail box I though you referring to key only license earlier post

Yes, but make sure you have the digital license in your MS acc. It's just to transfer existing license to a new build. For win11, once new OS installed and ready to go, there is nothing to stop u from formatting your OS ssd and use as a normal drive.

If you are interested in building and also after spending so much, why waste the chance to enjoy the process/stress.
