PC Speaker recommendation

Actually a soundbar will be better than using PC speaker.
Not to mention using PC speaker the volume control have to adjust on the speaker itself.
Soundbar wise if it uses HDMI ARC connection than just one remote to control TV and speaker.

Wanted to get SB stage but read something about the sound bar which made me goes back to the left right speakers (can't remember what i read).
Anyway k407 has a wireless controller, but i use it only with android box so can control the volume via the Bluetooth keyboard.

too big for desktop speakers though.

The R1280DBS really cheap and decent, i bought it during shopee sale maybe about $118 only. Sounds very clear and its loud. Bass of course its not the sub woofer type of bass but its decent for desktop usage.

If want more sub woofer bass, just buy an add on sub woofer and plug in to the subwoofer output lo. R1280DBS have sub out port but the older model R1280DB dont have, so its a no brainer not to get that one. The older one frequency level also abit lesser range.

Get a decent desktop amp eg smsl ad18 ($150+) or sa400 ($380+) plus decent speaker eg elac debut 6.2 ($500+) or monitor audio silver rx1 ($700+) , beat the crap out of the above brands

Call me nuts but this is the best mini speaker. Bought 1 on impulse for my daughter and the sound clarity just blew me away. Don't expect bass though.

They also have these speakers paired up with a 5-watt subwoofer... dunno whether it would provide decent enough bass?

Monitor is 64cm.

Left 16 cm of space, meaning 8cm of space left per speaker

Now I'm using my old Bose Companion 3 but it seems to have some problem and probably dying soon.
So I need a replacement.

The bose companion is very wide at about 14.5cm, so i have to slant it and keep it behind the monitor.

Now I'm moving to a new location, what's the speaker to get if I want to retain the same desk?

Budget below $500.

Promedia is 10.7cm wide per satelite.

I considered using speaker clamps but i think it looks a little ugly, they don't seem cheap.
Also scare that they vibrate or unstable.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Lucky my very old Creative T20 speakers just nicely fits side by side

How often do u use ur PC and speakers? Creative T20 or T40 is good enough

Can consider under monitor soundbar loh.

Logitech Z407 can put underneath monitor but can be difficult to buy/find since stock are rare.

But the sound okay or comparable to my existing bose or promedia?

I find promedia sound most pleasant .

I dun have enough space in between my keyboard and the monitor

And I've always felt that due to the size of the small speaker cones in soundbars, their sound quality is subpar, esp when compared to proper sized speakers
