I stayed at busselton and also my base to go MR and went to capt leeuwin lighthouse which is about 1hr drive and hamelin bay.

I find busselton has much cheaper accommodation price as compared to MR.

The last time I went Genting was in 2011. I remb the lowest was 22 to 23 deg when I was there .

I don't think Genting can go as low as 14 to 15 deg
i find 22-23 perfect for me. 14-15 while still ok but less comfortable since i spend most time outdoor. do Australia have heated toilet seats?

I like to run . So I always love to run in 10 to 20 deg during my holiday even with my normal running attire in Singapore.

I don't see any heated seat in Australia. I think that only exclusively widely available in Japan . In fact there is not even a bidet there

I think Perth seafood are more expensive, they don't have markets like Queen Vic or footscray market that sells cheap seafood.

Most of their seafood are sold by shops individually.

Tried WA lobsters, but still prefer lobsters from Victoria and Tasmania where the meat is firm and sweet.

Rent from no birds for my rental car. I choose hybrid Toyota Corolla again as I find the fuel consumption is very good when I drove it last year from them . When collecting my rental car . Found out I was provided with hybrid Yaris cross instead. The boot is bigger but I feel the FC is not as good as hybrid Corolla hatchback.

Concur with @winningeleven , having rented both the Corolla Hybrid and Yaris Cross Hybrid from No Birds. But I felt the Yaris Cross to be a bit under-powered.

Booked but not able to get Corolla Hybrid, so got this

Daily rate is the same and boot space is able to fit my 29" and 2 cabin bag easily.
Drove 1408KM, and spend AUD$120+ for petrol, where the cheapest top up at MR, and Perth is at least 10 cents more per litre.
For No Bird $300 deposit, I paid using Trust card and refunded after 3 days.

I spent two nights at Vintages Margaret River Accommodation. It is at the heart of the town and nearby there is a Woolworth and a laundry, and is walking distance to Cafe and Restaurant main strip. I booked a queen room for two, but they have family studio and 2 bedroom apartment too.

Drove 1427km and spend Aus $123.19
