My Philips 65" PUT6023S/98 TV has died. Only 3.5 years of service and 6 months after warranty expired. Accumulated only about 10,000 hours of usage.

TERRIBLE !!! 😤

My previous Samsung lasted 13 years! 💪
Not gonna buy Philips again. 😪

No idea. Just when power ON, screen blink briefly with Philips logo, then Nothing. In short, the only thing I can do is power ON and OFF ... nothing else.

Hisense TV do not have Starhub TV+ app so it may not be convenient to watch Starhub TV on this TV directly. It will be better to go for TV with the Starhub TV+ app if using Starhub TV. This is helpful for bedroom TV that we do not want to rent an extra box.

Viewed PUT8808 and is blown away by its details and almost OLed- like
I bought the 50PUT8808 and the TV was delivered yesterday. For S$849, i think this is one of the better 50in 4K TV out there in term of display and sound under S$900. One can also consider Philips 8100 which is Qled but no ambilight and weaker sound output.

Actually quite impress with the TV speaker. 4x10W total 40W. Yesterday load up netflix with dolby vision and atmos since this TV can support both, was a bit blown away by the sound. I don't even need a sound bar.

I thought blooming only on mini-LED
mini-LED would have less blooming compared to normal LED. Anyway, need full-array local dimming with many zones to counter blooming, aka the halo glow on dark background surrounding bright, especially white objects

saw the same exact model today and was quite impressed
