Yes, better than upgrading and risk screwing up the phone.
Not gonna fix something that is not broken.
Ic if HyperOS is problematic then wouldn't the new Xiaomi models that already come with HyperOS have problems also? Or do the problems only arise for those who update their Xiaomi-s from MIUI?

I discovered some functions are lost, like scheduled power saving mode, which is helpful. I had provided feedback in their feedback channel/app IIRC and hopefully future version brings back such functions.
Feels like a regression if such essential functions (to me) is lost, and also who knows how compatible it is to upgrade for the older models to HyperOS thus, the reluctance.

I'm one that is always happy to upgrade to the latest version if possible since it usually means better security and support for my devices, but unfortunately not this time for HyperOS.
Still adopting the wait and see attitude, probably down the line when forced to upgrade I guess.

The options are just at different place. For the scheduled battery saver mode, it is at

1) Battery > Current Mode > -Change it to battery saver first-
2) The battery saver settings menu will appear. You can find the scheduling inside.
3) Change back the current mode to your original, eg balanced.

Oh wow, its actually there.
Don't get why its hidden in sub-menus instead...
Appreciate the sharing @swathe !

Their UX engineer never do a proper job.

Just treat like using a different brand of phone and the menu options are different.
Yes, still need a lot more time for polishing to make it more friendly and effiicent.
Gotta say HyperOS looks newer and cleaner though, but functionality beats design everytime for me.
Maybe cause I am getting older. lol

I have Poco F4, am on Hyperos, debloated some apps away. There is minor app crashes, but otherwise I think not much speed difference from the previous OS version.

Feels more stable. Also security update to Sept 2024.
