Problem with the likes of xiaomi is that they don’t support long term. Was forced to go 3rd party for F1 as it was eol and that was last year when there was only f4.

F1 ? You expect phone company to support phones for more than 5 years?

Even apple rarely does that.

Poco does 2 year android update support while china Xiaomi Redmi note turbo is 4 years.

Aiya battery so cheap to replace, like $40. Just use, after 2-3 years can change.

Problem is getting authentic OEM batteries .

Those fake OEM batteries usually lower capacity and lousy quality.

Found out something interesting after I migrated from Mi 9 to Poco F5 pro.

If u used the migrating tool during the initial setup process, the name of the chipset in poco under detailed specs will be truncated to a shorter name, similar to the old phone.

But if u did the initial setup on the poco first, then migrate your data over using Mi Mover, the name remains intact.

If it bothers u, then just take note of the steps.....

More ram means can load more apps and remain open in the background.

More RAM may be more favourable for android 14, where they will make changes to stop apps from closing/killing other apps. Since force-closing apps can impact battery life and performance, as a full application reload takes longer and consumes more resources.

Background apps will only be force closed when there is insufficient memory, by the next android version.
Having more RAM will reduce such occurences and save battery life.

nope not price error, gradually dropping price.
now 8/256 $439 and 12/256 $469, before any shop/platform voucher
probably soon will be able to get near my target budget of <$400
