nope not price error, gradually dropping price.
now 8/256 $439 and 12/256 $469, before any shop/platform voucher
probably soon will be able to get near my target budget of <$400 :o
No but for that one, the 8/256 set was more expensive than 12/256..

Global variant aka Shopee, Lazada from official shop have. Indian variant no NFC, so you better check when buying is which variant you getting.

Get more ram obviously... Future proof

That's why I got the China rom 16gb 1 tb one for 400++.
Moi can't even exceed 6gb ram usage hahaha haix.

At least it's cheap. Poco prices are a joke in comparison this round.

They dun even offer longer sw support than their china counterparts.

thanks for sharing.

now im leaning towards trying out china rom sets again n for the price and specs :ROFLMAO:
just having worries from past experiences (before miui8 iirc), back then China roms do not have google services integrated and will tends to have all sorts of funny issues like delayed push msg/notifications, app crash, app not supported etc

While playing with the poco F5 pro, I notice issue in the google map compass. Normally, when I launch google map indoor example mall, it will have a pointer or an indicator of where I'm facing. Now it doesn't show where I'm facing and I have to keep calibrating to get the pointer or an indicator compass to work.

Anyone face this issue with f5 or f5 pro? or other xiaomi phone? My Samsung galaxy works fine wor...
Same on F5 no pro, X5 pro also same issue

Not really. Singpass ,Banking apps all working except google map the calibration got problem.
5G is fine too.
Tuning back to old Poco launcher settings is the problem.

Too much china bloated apps also .

Alot app management/configuration to do even with mi mover.

Upgrading phone is messy business as always.

F6 released already right? Price dropping soon?
There's a rumour that the F6 wouldn't be as powerful as the F5 cos 7+ Gen 2 is somehow too good for it's pricing. So they might switch to mediatek if their chip on paper is way better than the F5. Also, with pricing going up so the next SD for it's non-pro model might be much more ex or not so powerful.

Probably like F4 which is totally a waste of time .

The Poco release too fast for the newer chip tech to catch on .

F5 users probably no need upgrade for 2-3 years.
