Any good promo for M3 now?
Or M4 is a better buy?

Normally xiaomi phones are cheap while new, then get more expensive when its no longer made. 128GB used to cost $150 in nov last year.

m4 pro costs $300+ not worth since poco x3 pro 256gb is a better buy.

An budget alternative is redmi 10 about $240. 10% faster cpu, but mediatek soc, but smaller battery. not as value for money compared to poco m3

erm this shop... better check if they're selling local or export.

I blocked them on Shopee cos they keep spamming me if I am ordering (well, how to if your items look so dubious and your replies are so roundabout), and because they only revealed to me that their phones are ALL unsealed AFTER I made payment even though they kept saying okay when I asked/confirmed if it's sealed.

maybe I am a*al but I've never bought phones that come to me UNSEALED. the Little India area of shops are super sus except for 2 shops that I'd think are more trustworthy.

I mean they claim that it's new so maybe they unseal for checking? am not sure. even the Shopee reviews are not helpful because you can't edit your reviews. that said, I don't expect them to sell non-functioning phones, but too bad that the shop cannot explain themselves properly.

thing is, if every other shop in SG sells phones sealed, why is your shop so special? can't get over that.

Realised this model is all sold out on the Xiaomi Global Store as well... Only left other resellers who are charging more than Xiaomi plus no local warranty...

Bro yusoffb1, can help check if your phone's have Khmer language in the system settings? Need this in order to buy this phone for gifting... Thanks!

I am suspecting they have cleared enough M3 stock, want to push for M4 already... But given 5G coverage isnt that wide built in Singaopore, is M4 Pro 5G actually worth the upgrade I wonder...

Anyone using the M3 facing issues with the phone? My set suddenly cannot turn on and charge. Long press on Power button or vol up + power button also no response.

Any ideas?

it is a known issue. need to send in service centre for motherboard change if still under warranty. My unit was like this too, after manually powering it off, cannot power on after that.

Been using Xiaomi all this time. My mum's M3 had to bring down to service centre to repair motherboard 2x within last 6 months. When I was there I saw 2 others bringing down M3 too. After last repair I sold.it off and got her a f3 instead.

1) can't wake up. Need to reboot.
2) auto shut down randomly
Both times they said motherboard issue.
Note that it's a batch manufacturing issue too, some batches are worse than others

I see. My unit couldn't boot up upon manual power off, wasn't aware of the issue and was dead after that, motherboard replaced. now don't dare to power off liao. 😂

Just send to service centre while your phone still under warranty. My wife's X3 pro had receiver issue. They took it and supposedly wanted to compensate purchase price. So we sign something. Quite lucky as it was last few days before warranty expire...
