I think Xiaomi Singapore not the most organised... haha... or their parent company isn't.... so got to wait for people to buy then we will know...

On the Poco Global Store in Shopee, a buyer indicated he paid $210 after discounts and vouchers... that's an outstanding price... I think won't have such pricing until got very good flash sale... right now is CNY period but still no such fire sale pricing... I hope during the actual CNY period got... seems like a good buy based on the specs alone...

Redmi Note 11S without the 108MP main cam. The pricing I feel it's a bit too high, $349/$399, just get the Poco X4 Pro 5G/Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G straight.

Is the Helio G96 in the M4 Pro a step down from the Dimensity 700 in the M3 Pro 5G?

M4 Pro 5G uses Dimensity 810, while M3 Pro 5G uses Dimensity 700...

Seems like not possible to buy the M4 Pro but only the M4 Pro 5G from the Poco Global Store on Shopee... both the M3 Pro 5G & the M4 Pro 5G are priced the same now... $299... so M4 Pro 5G much better right? Larger screen, faster charging, faster SOC, higher MP front and rear camera...

Just checked the Poco Global Store - advertisement shows the M4 Pro 5G is listed at $239 but the actual listing shows $239... possibly a flash sale for 3.3?

M4 Pro just looks a bit more attractive with the AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, 33w charging and ultra wide cam
M3 Pro 5G will have BT 5.

Helio G96 and Dimensity 700 actually have the same GPU - but G96 is older and a 12nm vs D700 smaller transitor size which "should" yield better battery life but doubt it makes big difference. D700 also clocks a bit higher.

The fight will be closer if it's M4 Pro vs M4 Pro 5G

oops sorry i misread the post i was replying to. M4 Pro 5G is still on sale!

but tbh M4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro main difference is the screen and processor. For info, Helio G96 and Dimensity 810 have the same GPU too but D810 is on a smaller size and clocks higher in CPU speeds.

M4P5G's 50MP camera is the Samsung JN1 sensor which is the same module OnePlus uses in the 10 Pro ultrawdie, among other brands. the 64MP sensor is unknown but I wouldn't think either is better than the other... both would be below-average lor.

Doesn't seem like a popular phone vs other Poco series. Missed out on some 8.8 flash sales and ended up picking up a M4 Pro 128GB for my mom at $221.00 during Lazada 8.8 sale to replace her ancient phone.

Hopefully she is good with it. Will test it out when it arrives vs the Poco F3.
